・このような事例について、その謎の正体を解明したソース記事を何年か前に見かけた。それをネタに記事を書き始めた。だが、ソース記事のサイトを記録し忘れ、未だにそれを見つけることができずにいる。やはり、面白いネタは不完全であろうが、途中半分であろうが、「ソース記事のリンクとともに」、その場で記録し その日の内に up しておくべきだった。

・本来なら、そのソース記事に基づいてこの記事を完成させるべきだが、それではいつになるか不明だし、たぶん放置のまま忘れ去られてしまう筈。

・何年も前の朧気な記憶に基づいて（なので間違いが含まれるリスクがある）、この謎の正体を記載しておくことにする。それは地面に落ちた落雷。その落雷のエネルギーで地表直下の土壌に含まれる水分が爆発的に蒸発し、その力によって「湿った草地の地表面が切り取られ、数メーター離れた場所に置かれ」る事になった…というもの。

・見失ったソース記事は、（上のノルウェーの現場とは全く別の場所で発生した）同様の事例を詳しく調査したある論文を紹介したものだった。「湿った草地の地表面が切り取られ、数メーター離れた場所に置かれ」た現場で地面が落雷で焼け焦げた跡も見つかっている。そして直線上にレーザーでカットしたような切り跡は落雷でも生じる…と論じていた。

・将来、そのソース記事もしくは論文を見かけたら、それを追加する予定。
