- この原爆実験における核爆発の「最中や直後」に出現した UFO の正体は別記事で述べる機序で生じた「球電の類」ではなかろうか。

- だが、核爆発の前に出現したという UFO が誤認でないのならばその事例は「球電の類」では説明できない。核爆発で time-slip が生じたとみなせば好都合なのだが、それはありえない（核爆発程度のエネルギーレベルではそのような現象は一切、観測されていない）。

- タイトルの件は極めて重要。なぜなら、核爆発中に UFO が出現したというのが事実でそれが球電の類ではなかったのであれば、Roswell 事件で墜落したのは UFO ではあり得なかったことになる。

- 以下、この UFO の正体に関する私の推測。

- この UFO は米軍が核爆発の科学的観測のために地上から打ち上げたチャフ（＋線量計シート）放出用の小型ロケット群ではなかろうか。その小型ロケット群は指定された高度に達すると爆散して内蔵されたチャフを周囲に散布。

- その爆散の様子が遠くから見ていた兵士たちには "massive numbers of bogies" と誤解されたと。核爆発地点の上空に散布されたチャフを複数のドップラー・レーダーで観測すれば、核爆発による大気の運動などの詳細データが得られる筈。線量計シートで上空の最大放射線強度の分布が計測できる。

- UFO が  massive numbers of bogies というほど大量に（しかも毎回かならず）出現した事例は他に全く報告されていない。なので、これは UFO ではなく、爆発時の観測データ採取用に大量に散布された機材だと見るのが妥当。

- そもそも、本当に大量の国籍不明機 "massive numbers of bogies" が核爆発予定地点の上空に出現したら、その時点で直ちに核爆発実験は中止になる。中止にならなかった（しかも毎回出現し、毎回中止にならなかった）ということはそれが国籍不明機ではなく、観測機材だったという事に他ならない。これに対するまともな反論は不可能な筈。

- bogy とあるから、軍用機からチャフ＋染料系線量計シートを散布した可能性もある。状況に応じて地上からの小型ロケットだったり、軍用機だったりしたのだろう。

- Dolan が取材した David というダイバーの証言も同様の上空に投下された小型パラシュート付きの観測用機材だったのではないか。爆発の衝撃に耐えるために it was almost like a honeycombed type of a look という構造だったと。

- 軍では将官・左官以外の兵士には、作戦行動に必要不可欠な情報だけを与え、それ以上の情報を教えることはない（情報漏れを防ぐため）。なので勝手な憶測が生じ、それが David の証言や大量の bogy が核爆発の直前に出現したという証言に繋がったのだろう。
