My opinion 1
- The participants (Desta Barnabe, Grant Cameron, Chase Williamson, and Jeff Kingsbury) all assume that:

　　- (a) Truth exists independently and independently of human beings.

　　- (b) Furthermore, there is an "ultimate" truth within the group of truths.

　　- (c) In addition, humans can acquire the "ultimate truth."

- But (a) is already wrong.

- Truth (like God in religion) is nothing but an idea (i.e., illusion) created by human beings. Therefore, the pursuit of truth, whether in philosophy or in the spiritual world, all of them only spin around in vain and reach nowhere.

- Since truth is not real, of course (b) and (c) are also wrong. What one gets from taking DMT or from meditation is only "empty ideas" labeled as "ultimate truth." Nothing will come out even if you try to remember it later because it is empty. It is only natural.

- Because the substance of the "ultimate truth" is an empty idea, we can insert anything (gibberish mimicking the truth) we want into it later, and we can pull anything out of it without limit, like a magic trick to pull a rabbit out of a hat.


- Suppose, for the sake of argument, that the "ultimate truth" obtained through DMT, meditation, or Zen enlightenment is not empty, but that there is something inside. If Z is not empty, then we have the following fatal contradiction. Hence, it must be empty.

My opinion 1
- The claim that we have the ultimate answer through DMT ingestion, meditation, NDE, channeling, but we cannot access that answer from everyday consciousness...has become a dogma of the spiritual world, so to speak.

- This dogma of the spiritual world of "having attained the ultimate truth but not being able to access it" has a structure in common with the "dogma of Zen" (i.e., everyone is already enlightened, they just don't know it). And this common structure is based on a simple illusion.

- This "structure of inverted ideas" is also built into religious notions of salvation. Those who believe in God can believe because their salvation is predetermined..., or that Buddhahood is predetermined when one sincerely chants the Nembutsu..., or that at the time of the Bodhisattva's vow..., and so on.
