Preface
- When I saw the second UFO photo (re-posted below) in the article I posted yesterday (above), I had a hunch. So I checked it out for confirmation, and it turned out that it was, after all, almost certainly a fabricated UFO photo.

- The results show that the information in the photo below is sufficient to show that the UFO photo below is a fabrication, without having to listen to any of the relevant statements in Stan HO's interview. From the information contained in this photo, the location of the photo can be identified as shown below. The rest can be proven to be a fabrication with only middle school level common sense.

Data in evidence.
The fabricated photo in question is below (re-posted). A cigar-shaped (cylindrical) UFO can be seen in the upper left corner of the red letter K of Kodak displayed on the building.

- The following is a Google Street View search of the location where this photo was taken. "Hong Kong KODAK" immediately locates the building in question. Then, just by wandering around the streets around the building, the location where the photo was taken can be determined. The image is large enough to be used in the following explanation (click to enlarge).

- That's all the information needed to prove the fabrication. All that remains is common sense at the junior high school level.

Conclusive evidence of fabrication
- It is tedious to illustrate the evidence of fabrication, so I will explain it in writing.

- In Stan HO's UFO photo, the shadow of the cylindrical UFO is on the lower right of the cylinder, but it should be on the lower left (*1).

Direction of the shadow to be
- From the attached Google Street View photo, the KODAK building in question stands approximately east of where the photo was taken (camera location).

- Stan HO took the UFO photo at 14:35 on 2003-12-17, which is almost the afternoon of the winter solstice. Naturally, the sun was shining from the southwest.

- Now, the right side of the photo corresponds to south and the left side to north. Since the shadow of the UFO is on the lower right, the sun is on the north side. In other words, the correct direction of the sun is southwest, but it is directly opposite to the north.

- The left side of the photo is the ocean, so there are no tall buildings on the left side. Therefore, there is no excuse that the glass of the building on the left side reflects the sun, and the shadow is caused by the reflection of the sun on the lower right side of the UFO.

The correct direction of the shadow can also be confirmed by google street view
- In the previous Google Street View photo (taken in January, so the season is almost the same), the shadow of the lighting pole is naturally on the left side (see the figure below). The approximate time of the shooting can also be determined from the angle of the sunlight (it can be calculated at the site below), but this is a time-consuming task and will be omitted here.

Confirmation by another method just to be sure
The following is the result of calculating the direction and altitude of the sun at the time the photo was taken, based on the date and time of the photo in question and the latitude and longitude of the location where the photo was taken.

My view
- I think Stan HO's orb photos are all faked too.
