And you can find a YouTube of Rick Straussman talking about his meeting with John Mack, whereby they compared the anecdotal experiences of individuals who took DMT relative to the anecdotal experiences of non-humans. He compared the anecdotal experiences of those who had an alien abduction phenomenon and Straussman said, boldly, we were blown away by the similarities of the two experiences. It says a lot. It says a lot. And it goes back to what Hynek is talking about, what Ale is talking about, John Keel, and a select few others, whereby there is a physical and non-physical aspect to the phenomenon. It may very well, likely, be triggered by different types of events, one of them being DMT. The question is, why the similarity? And is it a brain-based, purely brain-based event, or does it contain an aspect of consciousness that is independent, possibly, of the brain and may even well persist after bodily death? (0:58:05)

Those are all questions to be explored. One last thing I'd like to explore with you, Bob, and that is Jacques Vallée's notion that this phenomenon, the UFO and assorted phenomena related to it, represent what he called a control system, that there's some sort of an intelligence. He doesn't know where it's from. He suggests it's probably not extraterrestrial, but it's attempting to manipulate the human race by operating at the unconscious level, by producing religions and mythologies and things that are like the implicit operating system that humans follow. We see many individuals saying just that, that there are these beings behind the scenes orchestrating human behavior. You can make a strong case for that. How many books have been written on this topic? It's remarkable. It may very well be a control system. People call it the jinn or tricksters, etc. And degrades and associated beings with UAPs may represent another form. Or there are beings that coexist with us. We can only speculate, obviously. Maybe they're helping us evolve spiritually. Who knows? Who knows? It's all conjecture, obviously. And that's part of the problem. (0:59:39)

I enjoy reading about that. I respect Valet, certainly. But we have to be careful about whether or not to interpret everything we see on the topic literally. We can be drawn into that very, very easily. I forget the psychological term, confirmation bias. We agree with things that are consistent with our beliefs. We have to be objective. Easier said than done, obviously. But how do you separate the fact from the fiction, the sense from the nonsense? (1:00:08)

There are very clever deceptors within our fields. And that's in part why that lack of science or existing pseudoscience in many, many ways turns off mainstream science. And that's why that paradigm shift is so important, so that we have the right scientific methodology. Hopefully that will evolve into new scientific principles to address the recent discoveries that we are seeing over the past few decades by futuristic thinkers, outside-the-box thinkers like you and many other of your guests who are on the leading edge and are seeking truth. • abduction 体験は、一時的な意識障害による幻覚であり、
• DMT 摂取で見える幻覚

とは「幻覚」という点で共通している。そして DMT の幻覚と言えど単なる幾何学模様を別にして生物の幻覚ともなれば全くのランダムやデタラメに生じるのではなく、社会の伝統や文化を反映した 別次元/異界 の生物イメージとなることが予想できる。

DMT 体験に登場するカマキリ型 ET や爬虫類型 ET の姿は、古い SF TV ドラマや SF 映画に盛んに登場しており、その映像が反映しただけ。

同様に、abductee も古い SF TV ドラマや SF 映画に登場した ET の心象を、幻覚の中に登場する ET に反映させた。これは既に過去記事で取り上げた(*1)。

このように DMT 体験と abduction 体験は、同様の機序なので、同様の ET の姿となることに不思議はない。
