Now, we mentioned the, or discussed the whole black helicopter phenomenon earlier. Now, that picture, I actually took that picture in March of this year, on the steps of the apartments where I live in Arlington, Texas. The one where I live, it's like a two-story apartment block, and I was standing outside, and well, I went outside, I should say, because I could hear this helicopter, you know, the typical boop-boop-boop-boop that a helicopter makes, but it was so loud, you know, you could almost feel it. (1:12:25)
So, I went outside, and that's actually one of the pictures. Now, I took four or five altogether. That's a more close-up one. And there was two of them altogether. Now, that was taken, it was a cloudy day, but it was about four o'clock, something like that. (1:12:46)
And although, excuse me, and even though it was about four o'clock, you know, it was still bright enough to take those pictures. And there's one thing that those helicopters lack. Do you know what it is? Not the rotor, no. Markings, yeah. Both helicopters had no markings on them at all, which is actually illegal to have a helicopter that doesn't have any markings. Now, that one, that one's probably better. That one's sort of more in silhouette. (1:13:23)
But there's not a single marking or ID on that particular helicopter at all. And when I say they were flying around my apartment, I do mean literally they were flying around my apartment for about 20 minutes, circling. Now, you know, you could make the case that perhaps it was the police, perhaps there was like a car accident, and they were hovering around, you know, five streets away there'd been a bad accident, someone was killed. That's not impossible. And that could have been the case. (1:13:55)
And maybe because I have an interest in all this, I put two and two together and made five. That's not impossible. But you cannot get away from the fact that the helicopters were completely black. There were no markings of any kind whatsoever. And so that that's one example. Now, when I was at the height of doing one of my books on the men in black, I started to get like a lot of weird stuff happen in relation to that. And as odd as it sounds, a number of researchers who've looked into the men in black mystery, when they get into it, it's like the phenomenon kicks back at them and they start to experience weird stuff. (1:14:37)
Now, John Keel in his book, The Mothman Prophecies, he talks about how at the height of his big foot, excuse me, of his men in black research, he would have situations where the phone would ring in the middle of the night, and there'd be strange static or these weird voices in languages that you couldn't even understand. Well, I had something like that happen over the course of about four nights. And of course, you know, it's like with anybody. If the phone goes in the middle of the night, you think it's bad news or something. So you go to it. And on two occasions, I did that and heard like really weird static on the line. (1:15:17)
