なぜ、Mothman に遭遇後に UFO, MIB にも遭遇したのだろうか？

ひとつの仮説として、

• Mothman 遭遇に伴う「ヒッチハイカー現象」として UFO/MIB が出現した

という解釈がありうる。実際、Skinwalker ranch 訪問者にはこの現象が報告されている。

だが、「ヒッチハイカー現象」の機序それ自体が不明ゆえ、病名（現象の名前）を当てはめたところで病因（原因）は不明のまま。
