Jonathan Dover spent 31 years as a law enforcement officer. He worked in the Arizona Police Department, The National Park Service, Navajo Historic Preservation Department, and the Navajo Nation Rangers. He was trained in Criminal Investigations and was an Archaeological Resource Crimes Investigator. Stanley Milford Jr. currently serves as a Ranger Sergeant with the Navajo Nation Rangers in Window Rock, Arizona. He’s a graduate of the United States Indian Police Academy, and has worked as a law enforcement Ranger for 18 years. Dover and Milford together were assigned to officially investigate and document significant cases involving Bigfoot, the Paranormal, Navajo Witchcraft and UFOs.

個人的な体験だ。ジョンと私はあるとき、保留地の北の境界であるサンファン川のコッパーキャニオンの近くで溺れた人を救助しに行くことになった。そこで私たちはパウエル湖でボートに乗り込み、パウエル湖を横断してサンファン川まで行き始めた。かなり時間がかかった。

で、銃の雑誌に載っているような写真になるように撮っていたんだ。SWATの装備をここに並べて、写真を撮ってたんだ。写真を撮っていて、振り向いたらコインがキッチンカウンターの上に落ちていたんだ。青天の霹靂だったよ。それでそこに行って、それを見始めたんだ。 (1:36:30)

So, we're going to get going here. This is the night before the Phoenix lights, just like the night before Christmas. And what we had here, this is, of course, before we started officially investigating this stuff. So, I'm at home. My ex-brother-in-law comes running in and he says, take a look outside. Something just went over the house. And he's talking about this triangle that flew over. (0:28:13)

And it has three panels that are side-by-side. These panels are side-by-side. And so, this is my community, Loop, Arizona. This is San Francisco Peaks up here. And so, this is the area that I live in. And we saw what amounted to about seven unusual craft flying in a counterclockwise direction around Loop. This happened right as the evening was coming up. And this is looking out toward the east. (0:28:45)

So, you can see, you know, how empty this is, no matter which way you turn. In the housing, we had to shoot this in the daytime. Otherwise, if we shot it at night so you could see what it looked like, you'd just see black. There's no street lights. Everybody, you know, they don't have their lights on all the time. (0:29:09)

But this is one of the streets, you know, near where I live. And these lights circled us for 45 minutes. The first one would, you know, change color. The next one would follow suit. The next one and the next one. And as we watched these things, eventually one would start to fluoresce like a bright, bright flare. And the next one would follow suit again. They kept on going around our area for about 45 minutes. (0:29:40)

I took a video recording of this on 8mm with a tripod. And within a few days after these things showed up, we were visited. My family was visited by a guy wearing a white t-shirt, looked like a muscle builder, blonde hair. And he says, Hi, I'm Greg. I'm from the Grants, New Mexico. And I'm a UFO investigator. (0:30:14)

Can I have your video so I can do a scientific analysis? And of course, I had no idea. So I said, Yeah, sure. I made sure I got a copy of it on VHS. I transferred it, gave him the 8mm, never heard from him again. Sometime after this, when the Phoenix lights, when we started doing these presentations, I said, Hey, I've got a copy of this on VHS. I went back to look for it. (0:30:40)

My kids at the time had recorded an episode of The Simpsons over the top of it. So this is kind of what you saw. This is a simulation of... And, you know, it doesn't really do it justice, but it kind of gives you an idea of what you were seeing out there. These lights went over Winslow. They went over Second Mesa, Delcon. They went over Coal Mine Mesa, Hopi Reservation. They went over Tuba City, Cameron, and around Wapakie, and then would start making another trip around there. (0:31:36)

So we got to watch these for quite some time. I got on the phone and called the Coconino County Sheriff's Department, and I asked them, Do you have an officer available up on the north side that can confirm something for me? They said, No, we don't have any officers up that way. (0:31:54)

They said, What do you need? And I just told them, Never mind, because, you know, I'm a law enforcement officer. They'll never believe me. (0:31:58)

So that's what we had. We thought all the reporters in the world were going to descend on loop the next day. And what ends up happening is, the very next day, the Phoenix lights took place. And, of course, it just eclipsed everything because Phoenix is a major metropolitan area. You know, we're just one little bitty town on the reservation. So that information went on. (0:32:32)

I did call, and I won't mention who they were, but I did call a UFO reporting place. The people there were very rude and said, Well, there's nothing I can do for you. So I even tried to do that. I had no idea who I was talking to, who I needed to talk to. Since then, I'm a little more edumacated. And we've taken cases and reports and continue to take cases and reports of what people typically refer to as Bigfoot. For us, the significance of this is that with the Navajo, there are tales within our traditional cultural story of beings that would fall in this description. (0:33:28)

And these are seen throughout the Navajo Nation. And there's cases where one of the earliest cases was a group of... in this one particular case, there was an elderly woman who reported seeing this Bigfoot. And two young rangers were sent out to meet with this woman and begin investigating this case. At the time, they went up there, they approached her, and when she related the story, you know, later, they were... when they weren't right where she was at, they were kind of talking among themselves. And they kind of, you know, they were laughing among themselves. And this got back to my boss, the chief. My chief was very, very angry with this situation. So he called him, called all of the rangers in, and basically said that from now on, when these kind of cases come up, he said, you will treat them with... these people with the utmost respect. Because what they're going through can be very traumatic. We... he wasn't asking for people to believe in it or, you know, it's... but it's very real to those people that are going through this. And so he said at that point that... he said, I will have John and Stan, from now on, take these kind of investigations. (0:35:14)

And that's really how John and I got appointed to doing the paranormal stuff. And like what was said earlier, is that these kind of cases are only a fraction of what I deal with in the year. Maybe one... less than one percent. The rest of it is primarily natural resources. That's our primary function. Protecting and enforcing the natural resources for the Navajo Nation. We do have departments like our fish and wildlife. We do have an archaeology department, historic preservation, and forestry. (0:35:52)

But for the rangers, we cover the entire spectrum there. Protection. And that's really what makes the rangers department unique, is that we cover such a wide range of enforcement, including the criminal code. What the public safety and Navajo police also do, you know. I mean, if we're out at the lake and we're checking fishing permits or whatever, we never know. (0:36:18)

We may come across the domestic violence or something like that and have to act. So at times we deal with those kind of things. But here... in this particular slide, this was one case that I dealt with where it was an elderly woman that was reporting that she, at night time, seen under the streetlight that was near her home, one of these bigfoot. And this was up near her, the front of the residence, these tracks. This is with a thermal. And that's the outline of the tracks. Sometimes there is hair sample like this. In some cases we sent that off to universities to have them type it. And John had mentioned in one particular case it came back, you know, that it was unknown. (0:37:29)

In that particular case, there was these tracks right here. And these flags kind of marked that. This right here was behind this elderly woman's residence. And it's probably over a 45 degree angle. I mean, you or I couldn't have taken off and gone up this. But whatever this was, it was able to scale this area behind her house. (0:37:53)

There's a ruler. This is another case. A photograph of a track. Impression. Here's the heel here. You can see right here the toes. And again, this was probably, I think, this was between 16 and 20 inches, I think, of this particular. And again, here's the tracks. In this case, went out through there. And here's a casting of these prints. (0:38:36)

And this one, you can see the date there from the photograph back in 2014. This is another casting. You can see the toes. In one case, it did. There was a family reporting a Bigfoot near their home, constantly coming near there. We went out, did the investigation with the family at night using thermal and night vision equipment. And I know I witnessed something that was larger than a man. (0:39:08)

It's body build was much bigger than a man. And we went back out there the next day, me and one of the other investigators. And we walked down the road. We came back up. And along that road, there's a steep incline, probably goes down 500 feet. And along this is really heavily wooded. With the ponderosa pines. (0:39:45)

So as we were walking, these rocks started flying up near where we were at. And this is actually one of those rocks. This particular rock is about this big. And it's about this thick. And if it hit either one of us, it would have definitely injured us or killed us if it hit you. (0:40:07)

But for the fact that it came through the trees, and there's probably 10 of them that happened. This is what we call the old man case. This involves an elderly Navajo man who had reported that to the local grazing officer. How it was called the old man case is that the grazing officer came to our rangers and said, there's an old man in our community that was that's reported seeing a UFO and entities. (0:40:42)

So can you come out and meet with him? This is the elderly man. This is his wife. These are people with Bigelow Aerospace. There are some investigators that come out and assisted us with this particular case. What he says is that the elderly man is that his wife, his kids, and his grandkids were down visiting one of the kids at Arizona State University. So he was home alone. (0:41:12)

He was getting ready to go to bed because it was between 11 and 12. And all of a sudden he's seeing light outside. And he's thinking somebody's driving up to his home. Because where the house is situated, it's remote. He has a sister maybe a mile away, half a mile away, that lives there. So he's there. This is the home, the actual home. (0:41:36)

What he says is that this object that is at least 25 feet in diameter and bright like the sun came and went around his house. And he said this object was shooting out beams of light, different colored beams of light, as it went around the house. He said it made no sound as it flew around his home, no engine noise or anything. (0:42:04)

So it goes around his home and it settles up in an area near, about less than a mile from his home, but it's just hovering above the trees. And this particular area was decimated by a wildland fire or forest fire. So there's no tree, no leaves or anything on the trees. So this thing's sitting up there hovering. And down below these things start shooting. (0:42:34)

There's some lights down below. He says where this object was, down below it, these lights moved out to the south a ways and then they moved back underneath it. And then they started coming toward his home. (0:42:44)

He says that as he is watching these lights coming toward the house, this is another thing that was in this particular case. It's these solar lamps. He had them situated around the front of the house that goes around the back side of the house and out to that. They have an outhouse there. A lot of the rural Navajo homes, they still utilize outhouses because in some areas there's no running water. (0:43:19)

So that plays a role in this. What he says is that all of this is being described in Navajo, the Navajo language. And with Navajos, the language is very descriptive, very precise. And he basically, in Navajo, we had an interpreter from the federal courts, federal magistrate courts that came in and interpreted for us. But what he says is this is what he described. (0:43:53)

And I drew this based on what he's telling me. He described them, at first he thought they were little kids, you know, as these things were coming toward his house, he has a small young pup that ran out to where these things were. And he said when his dog got there, that it made a yelp like it was hurt. And from that, he began having this strange feeling. (0:44:20)

And he said at that point, he went back in the house, locked the door, and he's watching through the curtains. So he's watching, and this is what he sees. There is a street lamp out at one corner of the front of the house, and these things come up there. And they're really, really interested in the solar lamps. What he said was, he said there was four of them, and they would gather around one of these solar lamps and get down near it, and the light would go out on it. (0:44:49)

And then he said they would look, and then he said when they back off, it would light back up again. And he said they kept doing that. They kept, you know. The other thing was, they had a device that he said was like a flashlight, but he said each one of them had a different color, red, yellow, blue, and green. And he said these things were walking around his yard like they were looking for something with those lights. The other thing he said is that these beams, they weren't like a flashlight. (0:45:23)

He said the light was collimated like a laser in that it was about one inch in diameter, not like the kind of laser I'm using here where you have a single point. He said it was like at least one inch in diameter, but he said they were shining these things around and like they were looking for something. (0:45:49)

This is the dog that, this is the dog that ran out to, we try to maintain everybody's anonymity. This is the pup that ran out and yelped when it got there. One of the sad things with this, within that week this dog passed away. (0:46:04)

And when we were there, this little pup was always jumping up on us and it was really friendly. And this particular dog was a mama dog. It's part Rottweiler and it's very aggressive. And you can see this big old heavy chain that it's on. There's a reason for that chain, believe me. (0:46:33)

When we were there, it was very aggressive. It had pups. He said on the night of the incident that this dog, it never came out of its dog house, did not make a peep. And he said that was just completely out of the norm for this particular dog. Again, the solar lamps near the front porch of the house. (0:46:53)

He says, and this is going out to the outhouse there. You can see the arrows pointed. There is flagstone or the sandstone that he uses. He's building a walkway here. There's John and one of our rangers talking about this incident. This is a government agency that assists us with taking background radiation and stuff like that. They got the little fancy tools that we don't have that, you know, taking measurements. (0:47:23)

This is their guys in their bunny suits here, out there. And here's that dog not very happy with them. This shows what I explained earlier as far as the area decimated by forest fire. Here's the technical people out there, technicians taking the readings. They got their equipment, GPS. This lady right here was the one that works with the courts and did the interpretation from Navajo. Here's another investigator from Mufon. There's John tearing apart one of the solar lamps. (0:47:59)

In that particular case, there was a lot of different markings in and around the residence that didn't fit. Yeah, more markings and stuff. Another photograph from that particular case. This is some of the Bigelow investigators with their fancy little expensive tools taking different readings. Laptops, equipment here. They were extremely helpful. We have come to depend on Bigelow, Mufon for their expertise in dealing with these kind of cases. (0:48:56)

Yeah, one interesting side light about that particular story is that we were contacted later through Mufon that we will just say a TV show wanted to come out and interview the old man. We asked the old man, do you want to, you know, they want to pay you a lot of money to get your story. (0:49:26)

And he said, no, I don't want to talk to them. I don't want any publicity. So we told them. The producer says, well, I saw the report go up on the Mufon website for 24 hours before they pulled it off. And we have the guy's location. So we're going to go out there and talk to them anyway, as producers have been known to do. (0:49:49)

And in this particular case, we told them, go ahead. Good luck. Because when we had put the report in, we purposely listed the residence 100 miles away from where it was actually at. It's extremely important to us in these kind of cases when people don't want their name, they don't want it publicized. We have to respect that. And we will respect it. (0:50:16)

For these people to come forward to us and trust in us to relate these stories, you know, that's very critical. So we're going to talk a little bit about skinwalkers here. Before we get into this one, I would like to say that I know we have some, some natives here joining us and we appreciate that. (0:50:47)

But I do want to give, I guess, a warning in that, that we are presenting this and anybody that would be sensitive to it, I would suggest you step out till we get done talking about this. None of the photos in here, these come from the internet and it's nothing that would be, I think, you know, from one of the cases that we've done where it could harm anybody or anything like that. (0:51:12)

Go ahead, John. A lot of the perception is the Hollywood version that these are like werewolves, you know. Yeah. And as we get into this, we're going to find out that the reality is a lot more frightening than the Hollywood versions. The skinwalker is actually a shapeshifter. We don't know how they do it, but they can turn themselves into animals, various different types of animals, crows, owls, and within Native American culture all, all around the United States and Canada, they have different versions of the same thing. (0:51:52)

This is the Hollywood version, of course, the wolfman. What we see a lot is animals, they've been described as greyhound types, very thin, muscular, they can keep up with the vehicle. My own son had one chasing him one time in his vehicle and he was going 65 miles an hour and the thing was keeping up, he was seeing it right in the rearview mirror. (0:52:24)

He sped up, it sped up, he finally said, that's it, I'm leaving, and he put it up to 100 miles an hour and finally pulled away. My daughter had seen one and she said that this thing was painted all in white, it got down on all fours and took off running. So, they're real, and in Navajo lore, they are totally evil. They're not there to help anybody, they're only there for themselves. (0:53:00)

So, these are some pictures that you'll find on the internet depicting shape-shiftings. Stan has seen them himself, I've seen them. This is a case that we had up around Kienta area where the skin was actually located by a tribal utility crew. And of course, it freaked them out. A lot of people are putting this up on the internet and saying these are skinwalkers, these are not skinwalkers, these are Yebiches, traditional Navajo dancers. They do look scary, but they're nothing like the real thing. (0:53:47)

And I'm going to relate to you one story that we had. We had a family that came to us and they said, we don't know what to do, tell us what to do. They said, the guy says, I came home with my wife, we see, this is up in New Mexico side, and he says, there's a coyote trying to get into the sheep, sheep corral. (0:54:19)

So, he says, he grabs his .22 and he shot it, hit it in the flank. It crawled just on its front legs because its hind legs wouldn't work and it crawled off into the bush. He says, the two rear legs are still sticking out. So, he went over there and he says he grabbed it. (0:54:40)

And his wife was watching this entire time. He starts pulling it in order to drag it further out so he can shoot it again and kill it. He says, as he's dragging it, the leg turned into a human leg. And as he's dragging this thing, he notices it's all painted in this blotchy white paint and skins all over it. And he recognized it and he dropped it and he says, what do we do? (0:55:02)

And they says, you know, shoot it, shoot it again, you know, but they can't because it's a human now. (0:55:09)

And so, they decided to call the police. The police showed up and the police looked at it and says, we want nothing to do with this. And so, they called the ambulance. Ambulance came out and the ambulance crew was freaked out, but they went ahead and put them on the gurney, loaded them up, took them into the hospital. (0:55:35)

At the hospital, and we were able to confirm this from two different sources, the Navajos that were working in the ER got chased out because they didn't want nothing to do with it. And the Anglo doctors that were there chased them out and worked on this person and saved them. So, the family came to us and they said, what do we do now? Now that we shot it, it may come back and get revenge. And we were told later on that we explained to them, according to Navajo legend and history, if you were to go to, they recognized the person, who it was. (0:56:14)

And we said, if you know who they are and you go to their house, knock on their door and tell them, I know that you're a skinwalker, within three days they'll be dead. They can also appear as owls, as crows. This is a ceremony in a Hogan. And this is one of the old Hogan's. We've actually seen Hogan's, as those of you who know, Hogan's usually face toward the rising sun to the east. (0:56:47)

And we found Hogan's that were constructed, both the Hogan's and the sweat houses, with the doors facing to the west. And the cultural advisors tell me that these were places where Navajo witchcraft was taught. Now we're going to get into the orb case. And we're going to be scooting along here as quick as we can. This is a Mufon case that we did. (0:57:09)

Along this highway, this is coming out of Flagstaff, heading toward Loop. And so it's called Route 15. And up here, the young lady sees a red orb that's sitting up here, about 800 feet up. As she's driving, and this is at night, about one in the morning, this thing starts coming down this way, and it's paralleling or coming toward her vehicle. She hits this curve, and she has to take her eyes off of it. (0:57:49)

As she gets on the other side, this is looking back, this thing is, she looks down and she sees a white ball of light following along the edge of the road. And as she goes down this road, she travels for another half mile, and this thing is right along the side of her vehicle. She's trying to take a picture of it with her cell phone, but it won't show up in the viewfinder. (0:58:16)

But she rotates it to the front, where the headlights are, and she can see. So this thing's zipping along by the vehicle, and it gets down the road a little bit in front of her vehicle and shoots up in the air. (0:58:33)

We checked later on, and we got magnetic readings. The compass would pin right here and right here. And later on, MUFON actually did an analysis of the oil in that vehicle, and it turned out that there were unusual chemical compounds that should not, sodium nitrate was found in the oil. (0:59:08)

And sodium nitrate does not occur in oil, nor does it occur in oil filters. And the young lady had a lot of problems with her vehicle after this. And that was a brand new vehicle too. She describes later on, she gets home within 15 minutes of that incident, and this is what she runs into, is what she describes as a large rabbit, three feet tall at the head, and another, I don't know how long the years were. (0:59:37)

She said the years were together and both straight back. And she says it just sat there right where she parks. She freaked out, called her brother on the phone. Her brother lives in Phoenix at the time. And she says, if this phone goes dead, call somebody, you know, because I'm going to be in trouble. (1:00:03)

She said it didn't blink at her. The eyes were, she says, were completely black, which is not normal. Your eye, drive up, and either a coyote or a rabbit in front of us, it's going to reflect the headlights, either kind of pinkish or red. So this is where she parked her vehicle. (1:00:24)

Usually she pulls all the way up here. You can see this area of disturbed ground right here. Disturbance. And you can see it better at night, you know, when you use a little bit of light on it. And this ground was really hard. You'd have to kick it and kick it and kick it to break it. Later on, this same young lady saw this about maybe a few months later. (1:00:54)

And this one was about the size of a truck, a truck cab over, 18 wheeler. And the UFO investigators that were assigned to the case from MUFON told us that she could have experienced what they call a screenshot memory. It's part of an abduction scenario where you see something and it's, in your mind, you see something that's not going to harm you. Something that's familiar in your environment. (1:01:46)

In this particular case, it involves a law enforcement officer that works within our community. He said that, he said, Stan, he said, I understand you are able to do these kind of investigations that are, that are, would fall under paranormal. I said, it depends on the case. I said, it depends on the situation. He said, well, he said, my wife and daughter had an experience yesterday that was very frightening to them, very upsetting. (1:02:20)

And if you're able to come out and talk to them, you know, and I did, I said, yeah, I can, I can meet with them. This mother and daughter live out in the heart of the reservation. (1:02:29)

They had gone to Gallup, New Mexico to do some shopping. One Saturday, they were coming back home. And you can see here that this area, this is part of the area, that it's in this particular area right here, it's wide open. There's no electricity, there's no housing, there's nothing out there. It's just flat and wide open. So they'd gone to Gallup, they were coming back home. (1:03:00)

The sun had gone down below the horizon and it was starting to get dark. So they're just driving along here. The daughter is in her early 20s and she has headphones on. She's listening to music on her iPod as her mom's driving. This shows the route going out toward their home where they live out here. (1:03:31)

The mother said she got about to write this point. She sees this row of lights out in this flat area. There's nothing out there. What she describes is over 100 yards long is these small evenly spaced white light. She sees this and she reaches over and taps her daughter and she says, what is that out there? As the daughter looks up, this rises up three stories high and it's still over 100 yards long. (1:04:04)

And again, this is an area where there's nothing out there. It's just flat ground. So she describes these as small window-like blocks. And if you've ever been on a highway where there's one of these power plants or something, at nighttime you have all those lights. It looks like a little small city there. That's similar to what she was saying she was seeing. (1:04:28)

So they're both watching this and the mom wants to drive out to it, but the daughter, she gets frantic and says, no, no, no. She said, I had a dream about this the other night. Don't go out there. So they stay on the highway. She said it's lit up like this. She said one unique thing is that within these little blocks, these little windows, she said every now and then there was these flashes on the inside of it. And she said it looked like almost like camera flashes of white light. (1:04:58)

She said all of a sudden it made this bright flash and there was a black dome where that object, those lights had been, and then it was gone. And when it disappeared, she said there was a sonic boom like what you hear with a jet. So she said it was gone and they continued to drive toward their community, toward where they live. They get over there and all of the lights are out. (1:05:31)

They look back toward the other city that's near there and that town, there's no light over there either. And the weather turned instantly really bad there. The wind hit and it was blowing wooden fences down. And so for them it was almost, she felt and the daughter felt that it was, could have been something that was biblical. (1:06:02)

It really frightened them and it was life-changing. And so a very interesting case. We had to make sure on this particular slide that this words would fit properly. We went to another venue and the E got cut off. (1:06:17)

So we did not have the Satan buck case, we had the Satan Butte case. So we made sure this slide fit this time. This is Satan Butte. It's up around lower Greasewood. And the history behind this is they say that there's a big snake that lives up at the top that lives inside this butte. In this particular case, this gentleman was seeing lights flying into this butte night after night. That last frame was actually up on top of that butte. It's quite large. (1:07:00)

So this is what he's seeing. He went out, his wife wouldn't believe him. The guy, he's Anglo, his wife is Navajo. And he kept saying, I'm seeing these lights and it's going into the butte. And she goes, yeah, yeah, right. And so he bought a camera so that he could prove it to her and make her eat her words. (1:07:26)

This right here, you can see the mobile home trailer door. You can see the propane tank here. So this is what he's seeing out there. Of course, you know, you can't get a good shot at night. This is another shot of what he's seeing. And he said that something real interesting about this is it was trailing a glowing cord off that seemed to be touching the ground as it was moving or a form of light. (1:07:56)

And this is the actual photograph. We had this looked at by experts and they advised that it it was not photoshopped, it was not retouched or anything like that. So this thing would go toward Satan Butte from where he lived. And then they said that it would disappear inside at night after night. The other thing that he found was that a cylinder showed up outside of his corral. (1:08:35)

All his horses stampeded to one side. And this thing was just glowing and just sitting there with kind of a haze around it. He takes a pellet gun and shoots it. He said he heard it go ping. And this thing, you know, reacted to it. It dimmed. It dimmed. And then it took off in a flash. And he said in an instant it was over a mile away but still there. (1:09:04)

So we actually went into this the area that this happened and spent I don't know how long looking for a flattened pellet. But we couldn't find it. In that particular case, some of you may have heard about Sherman Ranch or Skinwalker Ranch up in Utah. A lot of the activity that we reported that, you know, in that particular case down on the Neva Reservation is identical to some of the stuff that was going on up in Skinwalker Ranch. Things of seeing these basically what he described was monster-like beings and UFOs and orbs. (1:09:48)

He described Skinwalker type things. And he got really, really sick. It almost took his life during that time. He had to see a medicine man. And again, it was life-changing to him. He ended up moving. And here's a guy that didn't move to the next town. He moved all the way across country to the East Coast to get away from this thing. That's how badly he was shook up. (1:10:20)

When you consider the size of our universe, it's hard to ponder the vastness. (1:10:39)

And recently, the Kepler telescope has announced that it's found over around 2,500 other worlds that are capable of supporting life. So, we're not alone. But, you know, all these years they've said, oh, no, no, nothing else. No other planet will support life. Well, this new telescope, I mean, to make an announcement that, yeah, we found around 2,500 other planets in our galaxy alone that could support life. (1:11:26)

That's pretty pretty serious stuff. For John and I, doing this wide range of type of investigation of things that would be considered paranormal, it got us to thinking and talking. And one of the things that I started thinking is that whether it's UFOs, Bigfoot, skinwalkers, ghosts, all of these things are in some way related. We understand in life that everything in our universe is somehow interconnected. (1:12:06)

Each one of us come from the same creator, that we're all related in some way. And this idea of different dimensions, if you talk about the Navajo creation story and all of these different indigenous peoples talk, they have their creation stories. And with the Navajos, it's taught that the Navajos emerged into the physical world that we're here through a reed. And I got to thinking, well, maybe they're talking about different dimensions there coming into our world. (1:12:56)

In those stories, they talk about in different worlds, they talk about different beings, different people. Some of them have features like insects and stuff in those worlds. Some of them are human-like, but they're also have like animal faces and things like that. And so I was talking to a Mexican scientist one time at one of these conferences, and he said he had seen our presentation. He said, Stan, he said, these things you're talking about. (1:13:28)

He said, I have a book and in my book, I described that all of these things, whether it's things that come from the Bible, angels and demons and things like Bigfoot, they are from different different basically worlds and they cross over from those places into our physical world and we encounter them. In the haunting cases, in the haunting cases, one of the most interesting and significant events that happened. (1:14:14)

There was a director of one program who, her staff were experiencing a lot of activity in their office space and it was disrupting the office space. So that director came to my boss and he said, we have this going on. Do you have somebody that can come in and verify what this, the nature of this activity? So I put together a team of four individuals, myself, an individual from Dallas, and two local Navajos. We went into this building, set aside two days. (1:14:49)

We went in on a Friday and after nobody was there as it got dark and almost immediately there was activity. But one of the significant things was what they call an abort is where a physical object will materialize out of thin air. In this case, it was the coins. Sometimes we would be there and you would see a coin fly across the room and hit you. (1:15:16)

It would come flying across the room and hit the floor and we would actually witness this. Sometimes you would be there and actually see out in the middle of the room a coin fall in the middle of the floor. (1:15:27)

And in this particular building, the bottom floor is cement. So it could be as far as one of the the interests over there and if fall, you would hear it. So science today, our knowledge in science would say that's not possible. It can't happen. But where I actually witnessed this with my own eyes, I know that it did happen. (1:15:55)

And the two days there was a total of 65 coins. I still have all of those coins. And they were dimes, nickels, and quarters. And of all of the coins in that building, every time they would fall, they would act just like any other coin. That if you flip it in the air, it would spin around and it would fall over. Out of all of the 65 coins, they were all heads up. (1:16:28)

So you and I know out of statistics and probability, that's not possible. But the meaning for that, you know, we don't know. We just don't know. All different years, new coins, old coins, you know. In some instances, in this particular case, I had been sitting at my kitchen table, this was at 10 o'clock. The other investigators were going through photos. (1:16:56)

Behind my chair in my kitchen, a coin falls in my kitchen. And we both look at each other and we knew instantly it had come to my home. So he got up with the digital camera and he went around the house and started photographing. He goes into my bedroom, comes back out. I'm sitting on my couch and as soon as he walked the threshold of my bedroom door, these coins right here fell over the top of his head. (1:17:19)

And I seen it. I seen between his head and the ceiling, I seen them materialize and fall. And so here's the coins. You can actually see, for those of you that have been familiar with going to a casino and putting coins in, by the time you got done, your hands would be black from the coins. (1:17:51)

And right here, you can see where it actually left a mark there. And you can see the formation of the details on the coin on my floor. This particular coin, when I picked it up, it was warm. It was warm. There was heat to it. That's the actual coin. In that particular case, we had things like chairs moving from here to the length of the stage all by themselves. (1:18:25)

It was on a flat. This area is flat. There's no reason for, you know, the weight or angles for it to move by itself, but we witnessed that. This particular slide is some of the equipment we'd use. You see these on some of the ghost hunting television shows and stuff where they're using a laser grid. In another case, in a building that was haunted, I received a scratch. (1:18:53)

That particular time when that happened, those of you that have been scratched by cats, I instantly felt it, you know. Before it even started showing a mark, I felt it. (1:19:10)

And I looked down and actually watched it form on my arm. And, you know, there's times I've been bitten by things, leaving teeth marks and stuff. This particular slide shows this little ball. There was a building that had formerly been used as a hospital, and the security guards were reporting activity and stuff, so we went in there. (1:19:40)

One of the techniques in haunting cases, we put down this powder in this floor. We put this ball in the middle of that powder, and this shows actually a little footprint on that ball. And with this, this slide doesn't show it, but there was actually, you can see the little toe prints, and how your fingers have, the ridges on your fingers, you could actually see that on this from the toes. This is where the ball was. (1:20:08)

It rolled by itself, I would say over a hundred and something feet by itself. You can see where it rolled, and then it went back, and there's several markings there where that ball had moved. We went in on the ground floor. We put down powder in this one area. We went upstairs. (1:20:37)

The security are guarding the doors. The doors are shut and locked, and it's just me and another investigator. We went in, went upstairs, and we came back down. There is a little footprint right here. You could see it where there was tracks behind us in that particular case. These look like little moccasin prints. Like I said, it was in a hospital, and that particular hospital, I was born in it back in 1966. This is men in black there. (1:21:14)

They're not wearing actual black clothing. After the old man case, the following day, these guys show up, and these are, their look and demeanor are special operators. These people that work for like the Seals and like Blackwater, and they have a certain look to them. They usually all wear these polo shirts and the khaki pants. (1:21:49)

They have the big, bulky, black watches like the Suunto watches, and their hair is, you can tell, is grown out from the former style, military style, that they've worn, but they actually have let it grow out. These two guys were here at this restaurant. Everybody else that's in there, they're watching CNN, and they're looking out the windows at the scenery and stuff. (1:22:15)

These guys are set there, staring straight ahead, and they're on the phone talking to somebody. This was their vehicle. They didn't know I was filming them and taking their picture. And understand this, that we've worked with a lot of different special ops people, Navy Seals, Green Berets, Delta Force, U.S. Secret Service, so we know what special ops people look like. There's a certain look to them, and we were able to see them right away. (1:22:49)

Even until today, you know, I still work in SWAT. John, retired, had worked in SWAT years and years. And again, out at gun site and other training facilities, we worked alongside these guys, and we know them. And these guys that we see after these events, we don't know where they originate from, whether it's companies like Bigelow or a government entity, but they're there. (1:23:20)

And while we're at it, we do want to give a shout out to any government people that are here. Anybody that's in the audience. You know, don't be scared of us, but we've actually gone to some of these talks like this, and we've seen obviously military people in civilian clothes come and sit down, watch our presentation. They're usually in the back up there. (1:23:43)

Yeah, they're usually in the back. And then they get up before everything's done, and they leave quietly. And so, you know, we're not very trusting of the government being Native Americans. We've got a long history of that. In this particular slide, you can see here that this is KOB, Channel 4 News, out of Albuquerque. Gallup had hosted an air show. (1:24:12)

During that particular air show, there was an object that showed up. And so the title here is, Planes and UFO Dazzle the Sky Near Gallup. Well, here's another slide that shows the same thing, but you can see that there's something here. You can see this iridescent color here on one side. You see the planes, fixed-wing aircraft, and this one was KOAT out of Albuquerque, Channel 7. UFOs over Gallup. So these things do happen, and they are out there. (1:25:01)

Personal experiences. John and I, at one time, had been assigned to go up to try to recover an individual who had drowned near Copper Canyon on the San Juan River, which is the northern border of the reservation. So we put in the boat at Lake Powell, and we start traversing Lake Powell up to the San Juan River. And it took us quite some time. The water was kind of choppy. (1:25:23)

You see Navajo Mountain back here, looming over Lake Powell. We got up there really late in the evening. When we were up there, we run into this debris field, and John didn't want to damage the prop, so he said, we might as well pull out here and set up camp. We always have our food and cots and everything we need. (1:25:55)

And you know how much we love to camp. So we'd set up camp, we eat, and I'm laying there looking up at the stars, and all of a sudden, I see this light. This amber dot. And I get John's attention, and I said, John, what is that? This thing was traveling across the sky in a zigzag pattern. (1:26:26)

And it was extremely sharp angles. It would go to one point, and then turn, and then go the opposite point, just making a zigzag. As this object got about to this point, as it moved across, right in behind it, there was the jet fighters side by side with afterburners. And as the jets got right above us, this object accelerated to just going to the east beyond any capability we have here. This thing had to be going like 10,000 miles an hour. (1:27:06)

It continued that zigzag pattern, but it disappeared. And it left the jets, even with their afterburners on, just sitting there piddling along, and left it behind. This object left those jets behind. And John and I look at each other, and we're just like, oh my gosh, what did we just see? In this case, I was heading back through, the route was through Route 15 from Window Rock. We were coming back from Shiprock. We had just done an investigation where 30 witnesses had sighted Bigfoot. So we were heading back from that. (1:27:51)

It was about 2, 2.30 in the morning. And as I'm driving back, I have to go through Indian Wells and Delcon and back to Loop. And as I'm driving, I saw what to me looked like at a place we call Sugar Bowl, which is a big dip in the road. I see an orb behind me. Now this thing was about the size of a streetlight or a basketball. (1:28:23)

And as I'm driving, I'm watching this thing, because I thought it was a streetlight. But as I'd go over these hills, it would keep popping up behind me. (1:28:30)

So now I'm really watching it. And this thing followed me for a good 30 miles. And it veers off, as you saw in that picture, it veered off to the side, went over the top of a fence, and went up on the mesas. It was a red light at that point. It changed from a green color to red. And I just got this real creepy feeling. (1:29:05)

It's the only time I've ever seen a UFO where I've actually felt some malevolent intelligence behind it. And it followed me for a while and then stopped and disappeared. So interesting that this would come right after one of our paranormal investigations. And it was just really, really strange situation. In one of the cases, the one that involved the coins, the activity had followed one of the investigators to their home during the daytime. (1:29:45)

We started seeing these coins appearing and falling, you know, flying about the room. And I had gone in, was going into the kitchen of this double white trailer. In the kitchen, there's a one of these little island things where you have the countertop. The other investigator was behind me and that was his home. Just as I step into the kitchen, there's one of these blocks that holds the sets of knives. (1:30:15)

One of the knives, about this long, flew out of that block into... there's one of these baskets that have... that hold the fruit and different things. You have a small one, then a medium one, then a bigger one. And it was hanging above this rack there above the island. This knife flew into one of the grapefruit, all the way through it. (1:30:41)

And the guy that was behind me, that seen this, he was just beside himself. And I calmed him down. I said, well, these things have that capability. They have the ability to hurt people if they wanted to. But my... in that particular case, we were never harmed. At times, we would be hit by coins and sometimes things would fly near us. (1:31:02)

But it, you know, it wouldn't harm us. So that particular incident, you know, it did have something like what John said. And we've learned over the years, we have a gut instinct. And I think we all have that. We go into a situation and something is telling us to use caution or to back out and leave. (1:31:26)

My advice to you when you have that, trust that. Because I think we all have these abilities that's beyond what our society really thoroughly understands. But trust that instinct, you know. For me, it has... being on SWAT team, that has, I would say, saved my life numerous times where I trusted my instinct. For me, when I... after college, I had come back to the reservation and I was working. And one evening, I had gone to the movies real late. (1:32:08)

And there was an elderly man there asking me, he asked me, can I catch a ride with you? This was after the movie, after 11. I said, sure, sure, I'll give you a ride. We're going to the same place. So, I took him and I dropped him off. (1:32:31)

And I started back toward my house. And this is a long stretch of highway. At that time, there was no development in and around. There may be some homes in the further distance. Just on this stretch of highway, there's fence all along there, barbed wire fence. As I'm driving, I see something out of the corner of my eye out the passenger side. (1:32:53)

And at first, I thought, well, maybe that's a horse or something that's running, you know, keeping up with me. This thing runs and it leaps over that barbed wire fence, which most barbed wire fences are probably at least that high, you know, to keep the cattle in. But it clears that no problem. (1:33:18)

And it's keeping up with me as I'm accelerating further and at a faster rate. I get to about 65 or in there, and this thing is keeping up with me. So, I'm really, it has my attention there. And it starts getting closer and closer to my vehicle. And this right here is the closest thing that I could describe it as. (1:33:47)

I found this online. And it looked like a Greyhound. It was, its back was probably as high as this podium. And it was all white. And as I'm driving, the lights from the headlights and on the side shine out, you know, out. These, I look over and it looks directly at me. (1:34:15)

And its eyes were as though like these exit signs you see with the red lights. It was like that. Like it had its own source of illumination. And it was red and fiery. And it had a mouth full of teeth. And I looked right at it. And when I did, I was like, holy cow. I slid down in the seat as far as I could, just barely seeing over at the steering wheel. (1:34:36)

And I floored it as fast as I could. And there was a intersection that's further down ahead of me. I don't know how I made it around that corner because I was flying. I come racing into the driveway and got out and ran in the house. And I'm out of breath. And my dad says, what's wrong with you? And I finally caught my breath and I told him what I seen. (1:35:03)

And he said, that's a skinwalker. That's what you've seen. And that's in its animal form. For me, actually seeing that, just like with the coins, it was life-changing. And that I realized, you know, growing up in Oklahoma, as John said earlier, you know, there's tales in Oklahoma the Cherokees have about shape-shifting and stuff. But a lot of what I heard growing up was related to like owls and birds and maybe a coyote. (1:35:33)

But nothing like what I seen. And I had heard stories about that from the Navajo. Having, as always, a young coming out and living there. But it was life-changing. A couple of years back, you know, I was at home at my residence and it was about 10 o'clock and I was taking these photos of a new handgun that I'd had. (1:36:01)

And I was doing it in such a way to make it look like these gun magazines you see, you know, that had the photos. So I was arranging some SWAT equipment on here and I was taking these pictures. And I'm taking it and I turn around and a coin falls on my kitchen counter. Just out of the blue, you know. So I go over there and I begin looking at it. (1:36:30)

It's an Asian coin, obviously. It's got the characters and stuff around the edges. I get on the phone with John. I tell him, I just had this coin fall on the counter and he said, send me a picture of it. And I told him there was Asian characters and he conferred with his daughter about this particular image. (1:36:58)

But there was no rhyme or reason for that coin. It just, out of the blue, it falls on my kitchen counter. And so every now and then I have these kind of things that will happen just out of the blue. And I still hang around with him. You know, John and I are strong in our faith. (1:37:21)

We're not afraid of giving our life and dying to protect others and doing our job. That's a part of it. Have we come to understand that? But we're not, I'm not going to give into this to be afraid of it. I had a strong faith from the time I was young in my creator till now. (1:37:42)

And I go into these situations, again, I've been shot at and dealt with these kind of things and I'm not going to be afraid of it. I'm not going to give it that power. And I would like to warn our young people that I caution them not to mess with Ouija boards. What you see in the movie Exorcist is based on a true incident. It really happened. (1:38:09)

And these create portals in messing with this stuff that open up something that you do not want to mess with. We've heard Ouija boards described as unfiltered portals. So you can actually go into a toy store probably nearby and there it'll be with the other Parker Brother games and right there on the shelf. (1:38:42)

I don't know why that happens but it's there and especially for little children it's nothing to mess with. I offer that caution. Please don't do it because it's dangerous. It can be dangerous. So we're going to, we're just about closing up here. These are some pictures of our personal lives. We do have lives after law enforcement. This is one of our friends here. I think he's around here. I dance in the powwows. (1:39:16)

So this is a shot of me. I straight dance. They call it the gentleman's dance. I also dance with the military society with the Kiowa Apache tribe in Oklahoma. And we call this the Oklahoma Ironman competition because you're dancing in 115 degree heat for three days. Almost 100 percent humidity. So you know we dance from from about one in the afternoon until sundown. (1:39:55)

And John almost experienced heat exhaustion one year. Yeah it can be about one down. So this is John serenading some family members. He does play play guitar. (1:40:05)

We both have that interest. And Stan has a Van Halen EVH special. And this, we'll have to explain this. It wasn't a mistake. We were invited to Scotland a couple of years ago and we asked them send us some soccer jerseys. So they sent us the Celtic soccer club jerseys. So this is Celtic. And we showed this picture in Stirling, Scotland and the crowd about fell on the floor laughing. (1:40:46)

It would appear that their mortal enemies in the soccer world are the Rangers. And here you got two Navajo Rangers wearing Celtic uniforms. That was at the Scottish Paranormal Festival. If anybody gets a chance to go to Scotland, we highly recommend it. The people there are like the people here in Oregon. They have treated us wonderful. And we've made some great friends there. (1:41:22)

I want to move up here now. After this trip. I really do. I've met some wonderful people, seen some beautiful country. And so I love it here. So we hope that through all this, that we've been entertaining, that we've been informative. We, of course, on all these cases, we prepare them just as if it's a criminal case. And we could sit in a courtroom and testify to what we've seen and done. (1:41:50)

And these are just a few of them. There's many, many more. But these are the ones that we decided to bring to you. And we just want to thank you. Thank everybody here for taking the time and allowing us to speak to you. For us, we're not here to try to sell some idea or belief, you know. (1:42:22)

We're here to pass along the information from these cases that we've dealt with. To say that this stuff is real. It is. It happens. And so we, if anything, we're not trying to fame any of that. Hey, Stan, Stanley and John, they got a question. Over here. Yes, sir. This is kind of long and drawn out, so I'll try and make it as short as I can. (1:44:23)

I worked on the Navajo Nation in my early 20s, about 43 or so. And I saw something at that time that really shook me up. And the Navajo gentleman that I was training, he just completely freaked out. We were patrolling the back of this industrial complex, and we actually saw footprints that went through a fence. (1:44:58)

Didn't climb over it, didn't jump over it, walked right through it. And he, at the time, said, well, it's probably a skinwalker. But it looked like human footprints. So I guess my question is, is that possible? Did we see something that wasn't a skinwalker? For me, after seeing the thing with the coins, you know, in these cases, I think anything's possible. (1:45:36)

To me, mankind, with all its technology and, you know, the headsets and things we use, the tablets and the phones, we've only scratched the surface of science, even to this day, even to be able to put a man on the moon. And we have barely scratched the surface of these kind of science and what's behind it. So, in that particular case, yeah, I do believe it's possible. (1:46:11)

We suspect, and this is just our own personal theory, that the skinwalker may be able to slip into another dimension. They're known to travel vast distances in a very short time. And police officers have told me that they've encountered them and they run incredibly fast to another place. And if they were able to slip into another dimension just momentarily and travel like that, that would be a good indication of why they went through that fence. (1:46:48)

The same with Bigfoot cases. In these cases, we'll have a set of tracks that start, move out, you know, a great distance, and then they stop. And so I've come to the understanding that maybe these things are entering our physical world through another dimension. These things that people call Bigfoot. Whether they're placed here by UFOs or entities or anything like that, we don't know. (1:47:16)

But there may be that correlation because there are cases where people see a Bigfoot and they also see UFO activity on that same time or around there. Because these tracks will go out and they'll just stop and maybe they're crossing over. Same with UFOs. Maybe these things are appearing in our environment, in our world, from another dimension. Just like the coins materializing. (1:47:48)

That tells us that this idea of like what you see in Star Trek where people are materializing like with the coins. Those coins had to come from somewhere. And those are solid real coins that are coming from somewhere. So yeah, my understanding that it is possible. Thank you. It's something I've never forgotten in 43 years. It was very impressive. (1:48:20)

So thank you. You're very welcome. Bob Bigelow is a billionaire. He lives in Las Vegas. You've seen him in the news recently because they're building Habitat modules for the space stations. They're made out of Kevlar. They fold them up. They get them up there and they air them up. And they're micrometeorite proof. And so he has his own investigation team that he's hired to go out and investigate these cases. (1:48:49)

And in fact, in Skinwalker Ranch, he bought the ranch because he wanted to study the phenomenon there. (1:48:53)

I have a question. Sure, sure. On the coins that appear, do they later disappear or have you a collection of them? I still have them from that particular case. They've never disappeared. An interesting fact about that case is that when that activity followed us to one of the residents where I mentioned the knife flying out of the block, we were sitting on the couch and an elderly woman had come there to visit her son. (1:49:29)

And one of the other sons was there. And the other son was a little bit older and he didn't believe the stuff that we were talking about. And he was sitting there and he said, well, if it's going to throw money, at least it can throw bills. He no longer got that out of his mouth when a wadded bill hit his mother right in the cheek and fell on the floor. (1:49:55)

So I went over and I picked up the bill and I unwadded it. It said D-I-E on it. And the E was like a pitchfork. And so the person that has the residence there, they were quite frightened. And there happened to be a pastor that was from Oklahoma doing a revival in that town at that on that time. And another person said, ask him to come over. He can say prayers and bless your home and whatever. So they did that. (1:50:29)

And he said, you have to take the money that fell in the house and you have to take those coins. You have to build a fire out at the back of the house and you put cedar and different things in there. And he said, you have to drop those coins in that fire and you have to recite these prayers. So this person took the coins. I took the bill. We went out and built the fire. (1:50:50)

He, we start, we say the prayers and he drops the coins in the fire. I take the bill and I drop, drop it in the fire. And when I did, when the, that bill hit that fire, it exploded. Just like if you drop the, you know, some M-80s in the fire, it just blew up. Boom. And it, it, all the embers threw and I started laughing, but the person that lived there, they were, they were frightened by it. (1:51:23)

And so, you know, Have you ever had the coins like chemically analyzed or? No, I haven't done that. I haven't done that. Thank you. Yes, you're welcome. I was wondering in, in the old man case, there was the dog that, that died. Right. Was that of natural causes or do you think that could have been? The dog was, was a pup. (1:51:58)

It wasn't very old. And interestingly enough, when the crew got there in their bunny suits, they, there was a woman there that was a dog lover. And she kept trying, we couldn't get that dog to get off us. We were in uniform and we don't like muddy dogs jumping on us. And this thing was jumping all over us. (1:52:13)

She tried to get it to come to her. The witness described these beings as wearing a white or real light gray skin tight suits. And when this dog saw these guys wearing these bunny suits, it immediately ran to the house and cowered and just curled up in a ball and stayed there and never came out. So it had a real reaction to that, that light colored suit. (1:52:40)

Another interesting thing with that case is that the sister lived less than a mile from there. And when this happened, she had a dog that it had pups and it had, I think eight, was it seven or eight pups that were at the stage where they're little chubby and all fuzzy and running around everywhere. Well, she said when that happened, that all of those pups were gone immediately after that. (1:53:17)

They couldn't find them where they went or anything. So, so, you know, we, we didn't realize afterwards, we didn't get the word that the dog had died until about a month later. Otherwise we would have had an e-crop seed, but we never had that opportunity. An interesting thing with that case, we did interviews with that elderly man three times throughout that year. (1:53:43)

His story and account of that incident never changed. He never embellished this thing like, oh my god, this is what happened. This is an 85 year old elderly man, very highly respected in the community. And John and I have been trained by the FBI and in interviewing and interrogation and things, and his account of this never changed. (1:54:07)

And this is one of those cases where you listen to this person re-encounter the story and the hair on the back of your neck stands up. So, yeah. Thank you. Sure. I have a question about the same case, the old man case. You mentioned that there were some who you thought were government agents showed up and they had their devices and they were taking radiation readings and samples and all that stuff. (1:54:36)

Do you have any idea or can you guys reveal to us which government agency you think that was? That, actually, those people that were there, they were asked to be there by us. This agency is one that we rely on to be able to come out to do, because they have the toys to do that. They help us. (1:55:02)

I would rather not mention them in that we still have that working relationship with them. And again, a lot of these agencies aren't like us to be able to get up and talk about this stuff. Thank you. Yeah, you're welcome. Hi, I was wondering if there's any, you've had a lot of the paranormal experiences, it sounds like, and I've had several in my life as well. (1:55:26)

And one of them, I'm from Alaska, and my daughter and I both saw a, I guess you call them skinwalkers, but we saw it was half otter, half man. And is there some reason we got to see that thing, or like you get to see it? Why is it it happens to us? In some of these cases, my understanding is that some people are more prone to be able to see these things. (1:56:00)

John has experiences related to UFO stuff that happened to him. I don't know if we become more sensitive to be able and open to understanding this and seeing it. A lot of our society has this fear of like hauntings and ghosts. We've been programmed by our society with the motion picture industry, with all kinds of media to be frightened by this kind of stuff. And so, yeah, I mean... Yeah, we just take it in stride a lot of times. (1:56:42)

We just understand that this happens. And in talking to people on the reservation where we are, we've often asked them, why don't you report this to MUFON? Why don't you report this to some other place? And they tell us, we don't want everybody coming out here and crowding up the place trying to have an experience. And if they come out here, these UFOs, these things that we see are going to leave. (1:57:18)

And we've seen them out here for years and years and years. Nobody ever cared about it. So, you know, why should we open our door and have everybody else come in? So they don't want it to leave. But you talk to some of the old Navajos and they tell you, yeah, these things have been out here all our lives. And, you know, we've seen all these unusual things. (1:57:46)

So... Anybody else? Yeah, I have a question for you about the skinwalkers. You mentioned that in one case, they knew the person who was the skinwalker as it converted to a human. So what makes a human become a skinwalker? Or is it some sort of hybrid, possibly? Or an alien race, perhaps? (1:58:09)

These are people just like you and me. In order to become a skinwalker, it is said in Navajo legend that you have to kill somebody that's very close to you, that you love dearly, in order to obtain this kind of power. And the power is what's behind it. Being able to use that against other people. (1:58:36)

I've heard stories that long ago Navajos were able to use this in times of war with the other Indian tribes that were there, that they were fighting. Even the Mexican people at that time were warring with the Navajos. They were abducting each other, people from each other. And the Navajos would utilize this to sneak into other camps at great speeds and get information and come back out and affect their enemies. (1:59:06)

But today, primarily what we see is when there is a case involving shape-shifting or skinwalkers, it's about something very negative and involving witchcraft practices related to witchcraft. My family and I, we're down from the Tacoma, Seattle area. And so we live near McCord Air Force Base and Sea-Tac Airport. See a lot of aircraft flying around. So I know what the port and starboard lights look like. (1:59:47)

But when you were talking about this aircraft or this thing you saw zigzagging back and forth, this was kind of just before dusk. We saw an orange light and it was blinking, it was on. And then when it went off and came back on, it was over here. And it blinks off. When it comes on, it's back over here. And it went just in a pattern like that, straight down the skyline. (2:00:17)

And it was just an orange that wasn't like an aircraft. So I just thought that was really interesting. One of the things that I've started to understand is that these objects, a lot of times, you know, in nature there are certain insects and animals that can mimic other things. Either in its color or the patterns. Spiders and certain things utilize this. Some fish species. (2:00:53)

And for me, I think that these things are capable of mimicking the aircraft we have in our own airspace. So that when it does that, people might see it and then they think, oh that's just aviation lights. It's got red and blue lights on it. It's just an aircraft. And I think their technology and their intelligence, they know that. So they're capable of... that's part of the camouflage that they utilize to be in our airspace and not draw attention. (2:01:29)

The zigzagging motion that we saw, if a human pilot had been in there, they would have been smashed against the inside of that aircraft. They would have been mush. So the g's involved. Yeah. Curious to know if the skinwalker phenomena or Bigfoot phenomena, is that isolated to Native American cultures or is there something comparable elsewhere on the planet? There are other cultures that have tales of people changing from one thing into another. (2:02:08)

Whether it's from one person into another person, you know, and that's using magic or you know, there is other types of witchcraft that's not necessarily evil. When we went to Europe or UK, we went and actually went to this village where there were witches there, but they weren't... it was nothing to do with black magic or to hurt people or harm people. (2:02:47)

And it was interesting actually meeting them and greeting them and seeing that culture. A couple of more questions. (2:02:51)

I think this leads, what you just said kind of leads into my question. How has your experience and what you've done and what you've experienced affected both your worldview and then your view as a citizen of the universe? For me personally, it's opened my eyes that just like what the gentleman asked earlier, is that anything is possible. Anything is possible. Far beyond our known science, far beyond what we understand as the way the world is. (2:03:32)

There's so much more infinite things out there that we just don't, we simply don't understand. But one of the things that we do is we investigate these thoroughly and we don't just believe just to believe something. Belief is an act of faith that you didn't see it, but you believe in it. We put it to the test. And so, you know, I want to go up to that flying saucer and kick it over and see who made it, you know, whose name is stamped on the bottom. So, you know, I'm still waiting for that opportunity. (2:04:05)

For us as criminal investigators going into these cases, you're there to document and gather evidence. We don't go into a case with a predisposition of this is what it is. This is what we have. You have to have an open mind and go into it and document everything, photograph it, document it, record. (2:04:37)

And in a lot of this, you walk away from these cases and you're like, oh my gosh, you don't have the answers. And we tell that to people that, you know, at the end of this investigation, we may not have the answers. And a lot of times we don't. We try to work with other groups that have better understanding of the phenomenon and what's going on and rely on their expertise and stuff like that. We are not experts in any of this. (2:05:01)

You know, we happen to have investigated it and be lucky enough to... I feel I'm privileged in in being able to work with people and talk to people. I have this big picture of life and the meaning. And so each time I talk to people about their experiences, I take a little bit of that information there and plug it into this bigger picture. (2:05:31)

And it's starting to come together, this puzzle, to make sense. And again, one of the things that we see in all of this is the dimensions. Yeah, that's how it's interlighted. And maybe in a few generations, then we'll all have the answer. Our grandkids will have the answers. Yeah. Last question. As far as the shapeshifters, do you think they had mortality? Oh, yes. I had an uncle that actually killed one. (2:05:59)

And he went to Gallup, one of the border towns, and he was bragging about it to everybody. And shortly after that, he lost his mind. And the last we had heard, he was chasing his two daughters around with an axe, trying to kill them. He ended up going into a sanitarium. And a year later, he died. But he did kill one. And I've seen him killed before. I've seen a lot of them die. (2:06:28)

I've known three of them, who they were. And, you know, that's a little frightening all by itself, because you look at somebody, and you know they're a skinwalker. Or a witch.
