So obviously we concluded that we'd seen some kind of mysterious light, earth light or UFO. And I think that really that that had a profound interest, an effect on me because it was thereafter that I found myself in contact with what essentially was Great Britain's first ever UFO abductees. This was a family by the name of Day, D-A-Y, who lived at a place called Averley in Essex, the county that I live in. And essentially what happened is that they were travelling along a road late one night on a very short journey, which they knew how long it would take, which was about 20 minutes. And the next thing they know, they were three quarters of a mile, a kilometre or so further on from the same location. And after checking that everybody was OK, they drove home and really didn't talk about the subject for a while. But they kept having very strange dreams, the parents about being in very bright lit rooms on sort of what appeared to be like hospital operating tables and these strange beings which they described as gnomes, which is a type of fairy or little people that seem to be examining them. And they lived with this for a while and eventually they realised that they would just have to do something about it and tell somebody. They tried to ignore it. And that's how I was put in touch with them. And hypnosis revealed an on-board experience. And I wrote all this up for a series of articles for the magazine Flying Saucer. And it was great.
