動画の後半には別人の取材による古い取材動画のシーンも含まれている。そちらは音質は悪く聞き取りが困難だが、それでも Whisper は頑張って文字起こししている。

目撃内容の要旨​

他の記事の証言も合わせると概略で以下のようになるようだ。

  • Ricky Sorrells が巨大 UFO を目撃したのは 2008-01-01 前後(*1)の日没前後(*2)。

  • 2008-01-08 には近隣の 30名ほどの住民が夜空に謎の光点群を目撃している。

  • Ricky Sorrells が目撃した巨大 UFO は全長 300m ほどで、地上 100m を数分間浮遊していた。

  • その UFO には丸い窪みが、格子状に配置されていた。その窪みは直径 2m ほどで底面から上面に貫通していた。

  • その UFO をライフルのスコープで見ると、

そこから「蜃気楼」のようなものが見えました。蒸気ではありませんでした。よく分かりませんが、暑い高速道路で熱波が立ち上るのを何度か見たことがあります。そして、それが降りてくるように見えたのです。

  • Ricky Sorrells はこの目撃の 10日ほど後にさらに 2度、同様の UFO を目撃している。

Angela and local radio station Mandatory FM introduced me to Ricky Sorrells. We had a drink at the local bar where he agreed to meet with me the following day. ...all these aircraft in the area. They wouldn't normally be flying. They told me that Ricky had seen a lot more than lights in the sky. Hey, we can call that door, you know. I used to think that people that saw this and came on camera and said this kind of stuff, I thought, man, these guys need some help, you know. (00:00:30)

But it happened to me, and I can't change that. I had a hard time dealing with it. But, uh... She looked out all the way in that direction, you didn't see the edge. Looking up, Ricky said he could not see the edge of the craft in any direction. You couldn't see the edge of it? Couldn't see the edge of it. But I do know this, it's bigger. (00:00:48)

You could have landed in an airplane on that, I believe. God, that's an incredible story. Nothing, no sound, no one was hovering. Nothing when it moved from left to right, and nothing when it took off. And, uh... Holding his rifle, and sometimes actually looking through his scope, Ricky stood under the craft for about three minutes. I don't know if you've ever been in that situation, but... (00:01:12)

No, I certainly haven't. I've been in it only a very few times in my life, but I had to slow my mind down to actually think about what to do with it. The information that I was receiving for the first time. And, uh... That's what I did, I studied it. You know, I seen no nuts, bolts, rivets, seams, no welds. Uh... None of this. (00:01:35)

It looked like a piece of sheet metal. Um... You know, it wasn't shiny. It was a dull, uh... I don't know what you'd call it, matte finish, maybe. Um... And this is what I had a hard time with. Was, if something was to leave, in my mind, it should pivot up and go, like an airplane would. This did not do that. This stayed completely flat, and it went at a 45 degree angle away. (00:02:06)

And it took off at such a high rate of speed that no way I can describe it is if I would have blinked, I would have thought it just disappeared. On January 21st, 2008, Robert Powell and Glenn Schultz received radar data from the FAA. This image was created directly from that data. Each black dot, and there were over 140, represent radar confirmation of an unknown object whose flight path is seen heading towards Crawford Ranch. (00:02:38)

I just want to know what it is. You know, why... Why was it here? What was it? Is it ours? You know, that kind of thing. Although the military initially denied being in the area, the official explanation from the Air Force is now a flight of F-16s. (00:02:59)

After each witness I meet, I find it increasingly difficult to accept the military's response. I've actually stepped back and tried to view the big picture. I would like to find out what it is. And if people believe me, okay, if they don't, that's okay too. And, uh... So I've got a deer feeder back in here. And I haven't... I got a little trail deer. (00:03:51)

I'm going back here to clean the brush out, but I... I'm coming down through here and I start looking for deer. Back in the brush, there's no leaves on the trees now. And so you can see pretty good ways back in there. And, uh, so I've got my head down, looking. And I'm hunting, you know. And I'm trying to be as quiet as I can. (00:04:13)

And I know that sometimes there's deer in this feeder around this corner, so... You know, I'm trying to sneak up here and be quiet, and I'm not. I've got big feet and I'm crunching leaves. And, uh, but I'm trying to be quiet. So we come up through this... Right here, and I see there's no deer on this feeder. And, uh... So... So at this point, I'm thinking, I can either go down into the woods... (00:04:41)

Or I can go back to this fence line. And I've had a bunch of new deer coming in, so I wanted to see them. And so, I thought, well, I'm going to go back to the fence line. So I'm thinking about all this and cleaning the feeders. And, uh, I know I'm losing light and I don't want to get deep into the woods. (00:04:59)

I'm not walking back to see this stuff. Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha! I'm so used to walking through this stuff for three days. You can feel the fire. Oh, yeah. I'm getting near, and all the leaves, you know, it's crunching. They were eating crunchier because they were just fast. And so I'm trying not to make a lot of noise because I know the fence line is right over here. (00:06:25)

And I'm trying to get to a good spot to sort of kind of, you know, view what's coming. Now, I'm pretty camouflaged up, you know, so I feel pretty confident I can get right over there and do this. Well, this is my little spot. These are the briars here. And I get to these briars. And I'm working still back in here. And as I'm working, it's time to be quiet. I get to hang around these briars. And I got a load of young women in here now. So I'm trying to be safe. I'm getting near. And when I get to here, I'm getting tangled up through all this. I realize that, you know, I've been too noisy. So when I get to about right here, I'm thinking, I'm going to slow down and stop and let everything settle down. And I'm going to chill a minute. So when I did that, I looked up like this. (00:07:20)

And I got to about here, and then I realized, you know, what I thought. I was computing in my brain. And I ended up right here. And this is where I'm trying to act. I looked up, and I came to hang out here in the cone. And I got chilled, you know. But I had so much information going through my head. My brain just all kind of locked up, you know. (00:07:54)

It just couldn't compute at all. So I had to make myself get all that out of my head. And I had to think, you know, okay, let's just study it. You know, that's the only thing I'm going to do. What is it? I'm here. And apparently I walked underneath this lake at this point. And this is far as you can see, left, right, and straight ahead. (00:08:18)

And I'm underneath it. And, you know, I put my gun up. And when I put my gun up, I couldn't see through my scope. Because I'd been hunting out in the deer stand, and I had it on nine-fire. So I turned it down to three-fire, and I picked it back up. And I can see, you know, a bunch of things. The haze was kind of coming off of it. (00:08:42)

Which, after you look at it for a minute or so, it dissipated. You could see through it. It's like looking at a fish through water. And when you first look at a fish in a fish tank, you notice the water. But after you look at that fish a while, you forget the water's there. That makes any sense. I took it off the safety. And I thought about shooting it. And this thing's so big and so huge, you know, I thought, never mind. You might shoot back. I'll fall on you. I mean, I didn't know. All this is boom-boom happening. And, you know, apparently I wasn't going to do no damage to it if I did hit it. Which I would have. You'd have put your thing back on your ass. (00:09:27)

Yeah. So I pulled my gun down. I'm steady, you know. I keep thinking steady. So that's what I do. And there's a cone right here. You can see. There's one cone there, another one, another one. I don't know, 35, 40 foot over, there's another one, another one, another one. Another one there. You know, in the face of it. Like in a grid pattern. (00:09:55)

These cones go up. And they're bigger at the bottom. And they're, you know, half the size, maybe a little less than what the bottom was. And I'm guessing 8 to 10 foot deep. You know, I'm noticing how high it is. All this is happening. And I used to work at the elevator, the drain yard for my dad in high school. And that's a 100 foot elevator. (00:10:22)

So all, the rest of my life I've judged everything as 100 foot infinite. So I put one drain elevator, two, and three. (00:10:30)

And that's how I came up with 300 foot. You know, I'm sitting here studying this thing. And, you know, there's just no sound, no heat. Nothing, I mean, it's just, it's as still as it is right now. Right here, I mean, it's just. Did you make any gestures or yell at it or? No, you know, I'm still studying, I'm still computing all this. (00:11:00)

So I'm sitting here and I'm looking at it. And the cone that's here, it starts moving to the right. So, you know, being my view widened in a way, I guess. I was paying attention to the big part of it, so it was just that cone now. And it moves off by 100 to 150 foot. And at this time I'm thinking in my mind, well, now I've got to be able to see the edge because it's me. (00:11:26)

So I never took my eyes off of it. I went like this and this and looked back and saw that the tree's there. And I could not see the edge of it. And this is a no leaf. No leaf. No leaf. This bare tree. And, you know, I'm sitting here and I come back to where that cone was at. And I come back to that cone that was here and is now over here. (00:11:53)

And I'm looking at it and it's sitting there and it's like it's wanting to study it. It wanted me, I guess, I don't know. And I'm starting to, you know, maybe get a different style of thought process. I'm not sure it's all happening. And I'm almost scared. I was calm. I wanted to, the biggest thing I can get off to y'all is my thought process. (00:12:23)

You know, it's, for some reason it's very important to me to tell y'all about that, I feel. But I'm watching this cone and all of a sudden it doesn't do this to leave, which when it did leave I thought was different. It does this. That angle stays flat and it goes away. You know, it never made a sound, never nothing. It stays flat and moves up horizontally? (00:12:51)

At a 45 degree angle. You know, like this. It didn't tilt. At a 45 degree angle. No, it didn't. It was like this. It was like sitting here, you know, and it would go quite away. And that happened so fast that, did you hear it chirping? That happened so fast that if I hadn't had my eyeballs on it watching it, I would have thought it vanished. (00:13:20)

But it didn't. I seen it move. You know, and, you know, after that happened, my next thought process, my next thing that I can remember, which I had no lapse in time or anything like that, that I know of, I was about halfway back from the deer feeder and I'm going, what just happened? So, I remember thinking back up to the house a little bit, past the wood, no sound. (00:13:55)

No whoosh of the air. (00:13:57)

No whoosh of the air, nothing of that nature. Did you have any strange dreams before or after? No, not really. No illness, no dizziness, nothing like that? You said that the stone part you saw was about, you said 150 feet? How far apart did you say that you thought the stones were on the tip? Probably 5 to 40 foot. I put a semi-trailer in between them, you know. (00:14:23)

So that means there were like two or three other stones must have passed over you while that one was moving, right? Well, I had my eye on that one. So you don't know if any others came over here? Could you see the top of the cone? Was it pointed or was it flat like on Linda Moon Howes? It's flat. But to answer your question, is, you know, I paid attention to that cone. (00:14:50)

I kept that in my focus, you know. And it's just like if you walk around this corner right now, you run into a bear. You know, I mean, you wasn't expecting it, it happened. And the thought process, or my thought process, my mind goes from do-do-do-do to ba-da-da-da, you know. And I always had to call myself bear, you know. And that's just how I'm built, I guess, I don't know. (00:15:16)

But, you know, that's what happened. Rick, you want to show them where you found that round? Okay. Linda Moulton Howes came to stay with me for about a week, three, four, five days. And so she came and did an interview right here with the camera. So we were sitting there talking and instead of going back through this way, and she, you know, she'd been out before. (00:15:44)

But she's a smaller, petite frame lady, so I thought it might be easier to go back this way. And I told her, you know, at this time I'd already had these people coming up. And I said, there might be a track up here where the woods and the fence line meet because there's a bear spot. And that's where I always look for deer tracks. (00:16:06)

And so if somebody came through there, there had to be a boot track. So she said, sure. So we'll take off and we'll go this way. So we'll go this way. There's two hounds that were caught on video. I don't know. I just got here yesterday. About 10? That surprised me when I saw them coming into the frame. I was like, what is that? (00:16:47)

I don't know. When Linda, Malton and Hal and I got up here, there was a track right here. And as we were walking up, I said, there's a track. And I was thinking of finding one up there. But there was a boot track right here. And she said, well, yeah, she's been, you know, tuning in all the time, dialing in on it with her camera. (00:17:29)

And she said, put your left boot up here, Rick, so we can know how big it is. (00:17:33)

I said, okay. So I did this, and what I did, my big clumsy butt, so I can't see it. And as I was bringing my head back up, the sun was shining through those trees. And I noticed something shiny. And I kept looking at it, looking at it, and I said, there's something over here. So she stayed here filming it. And I walked over here, and this is where I found a wild 25.6 wild right here. (00:18:01)

And, uh. And what was it? A rifle wild, a 25-octet. And, uh. And it hadn't been shot. It hadn't been shot. She'd seen it. I busted it open in front of me. Right. And she got all this on video of the unravel. And, uh, you know, we just had to see the video to see it. But I don't know how many of y'all know the story about the guy coming on my place. You know, I show y'all that, and then, you know, he. Yeah, that's a deal. But, uh, anyway. You know, from him, I'm betting it was because I know my place very well. I know he was coming in and out hunting. Nobody had the 25-octet that I hunt with. And just basically a couple guys that were here. Um, you know, and they never come back to this spot anyway. "This past Friday night July 11, 2008, Ricky Sorrells was one of the guests on CNN's Larry King Live. He observed a large UFO approx 300 feet above him back in mid-December while hunting in the woods on his property in Dublin, Texas, near Stephenville.

During the live show, he mentioned the phone call he received from a Lt. Col and other military harassment.

Ricky is a down to earth, hard working family guy. I believe him 100%.

Ricky isn't making any money from this. All it's given him is trouble. I've been talking to him about 4-5 times per month since January.

What can be that large and be totally silent, hover, and take off in the blink of an eye?

Ricky told me he observed the UFO through the scope on his rifle for about 2 minutes before it vanished. He lives out in a very rural area, so his closest neighbor is like a mile away. I asked him why no one else besides him saw this thing in broad daylight, and that was what he came up with... there just isn't anyone else around but him for a mile or so.

Funny thing was I tried to call into Larry King and I actually got through. I was going to be the first caller on because I told the CNN operator that I knew Ricky Sorrells. Before I went on, I heard a loud POP and I was disconnected. Then I called one of my UFO buddies and his wife answered and said he was sleeping. I could hear this loud echo of my own voice in the phone. She could hear it too. I asked her if I was on her speaker phone and she said no. So that was kind of odd.
