Today, we're gonna discuss a very controversial subject within the UFO community, the Serpul story, or Project Crystal Night. Now, a lot of people within the UFO community know about this subject, about what allegedly happened back in the 60s. Was there a exchange program between extraterrestrials and U.S. (00:00:37)

[SPEAKER_01]: astronauts? Did we send astronauts to the planet Serpul, and they sent visitors or a diplomat to the United States or to Earth? I don't know, these questions have been lingering out within the UFO community for many, many, many years. In May of 2005, a retired Defense Intelligence Agency employee first mentioned Project Crystal Night on the internet. It went around in an email between a number of different people. (00:01:08)

[SPEAKER_01]: It pertained to an exchange program between U.S. astronauts and extraterrestrial race from Zeta Reticuli star system. How do we know about Zeta Reticuli? Well, back in the early 60s, Barney and Betty Hill was allegedly abducted by ETs on a drive in New England. Betty Hill told a story of a star chart that was shown to her by the ETs that abducted her. And this star chart, she drew, she drew a chart, but she didn't know what it was because she wasn't trained in astronomy. (00:01:49)

[SPEAKER_01]: Other people that interviewed her realized that what she was trying to draw was the Zeta Reticuli star group. Meaning that maybe these aliens that have abducted her came from that Zeta Reticuli star system. And that's why we're talking about Zeta Reticuli. Enter Victor Martinez. Victor Martinez had an email distribution list which contained the retired DIA employee. But over the time between May of 2005 and the fall of 2005, 23 different former US intelligence officers came out to verify that Project Crystal Night was a real UFO US government program. [SPEAKER_01]: Mr. Anonymous related the real story about Roswell. So let's go and briefly talk about what happened in Roswell. Two ET crafts crashed in Roswell in 1947. One ET craft landed near Corona. The second craft crashed near Pilona Peak, south of Datil in the western part of New Mexico. That crash site wasn't found until 1949. The Corona crash site was found a day later by an archeological team. (00:03:13)

[SPEAKER_01]: Contacted a local sheriff. The US military came in and recovered the craft. The second craft site that happened in 1949, or it happened in 1947, but wasn't found until 1949, was recovered by a rancher moving his cattle from one location to another. That was recovered by then US Air Force personnel from Kirtland Field. Remember, the Air Force came into existence in 1947, September 1947. The US Army Air Force and these two crash sites recovered debris. (00:03:49)

[SPEAKER_01]: And remember, in the Corona crash, we found a live ET who we named Iba, based on the wording extraterrestrial biological entity. And that name was coined by a US Army scientist. The live ET was transported to Los Alamos Laboratories, which at the time was the safest and the most secure place on earth. Communications were established with Iba. Iba provided us with advanced communications and other technology from the craft. (00:04:28)

[SPEAKER_01]: A communications link was established between earth and Iba's home planet, which the US intelligence agency called Serpo. Now today, I'm gonna tell you exactly what Serpo means. I don't think this has ever been disclosed before. Secret extraterrestrial remote planet operations. And that was coined by the Defense Intelligence Agency. Iba civilization created a method to communicate faster than light speed. Now, I don't have time in this presentation to explain the technical methods of communications faster than the speed of light. (00:05:13)

[SPEAKER_01]: How do we do that? Remember the speed of light is a distinct speed, 186,000 miles per second. But somehow the ETs found a way to move the communications faster. Iba wanted to set up the process in order to get back to his home planet. Remember, he was in the Corona crash site. He was recovered. He was being cared for by us, US Army, Air Force back then, but he missed home. (00:05:48)

[SPEAKER_01]: He wanted to go home. Unfortunately, he died in 1952, but he gave us enough information and taught us some of his language in order for us to continue this communications between Earth and his own planet. And I believe the timeframe between sending a signal and getting it back was approximately nine months. Now remember, Serpo was in a zeta reticuli star group, which was 37.9 light years away. [SPEAKER_01]: So instead of sending a signal that would take 37 years or 38 years to get there and another 38 years to get back, which wasn't practical, we were able to do everything based on the Iba or the Iban communications device in about a nine month period. And I'm saying nine months because I believe it actually varied. US intelligence established Earth receiving stations in New Mexico, Peru, Australia, and Chile in order to utilize this communication system that Iba gave us. (00:07:05)

[SPEAKER_01]: Several US contractors were able to take the technology given to us by Iba and create a system to send faster than light, or FTL they call them, messages to Serpo. I'm not going to go into how this happened, but we were able to do it. And our technology today, we do have experimental programs to be able to send signals faster than the speed of light. I can't go into details on it because I know very little about it than what I just mentioned. (00:07:41)

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about the beginning of the Serpo story. The president Truman was briefed on information from Iba. Alan Dulles, who was a director of central intelligence back in those days, briefed president Truman on the fact that Iba was live, ET was found at a crash site. Later on, president Eisenhower and formed a special commission of space scientists which controlled the information that we collected in a distribution of the collection of the data. (00:08:19)

[SPEAKER_01]: We maintained this and we circulated it throughout the government in a very secretive way. This group of people were later called MJ, or the Majestic 12. However, I believe technically there were more than 12 involved in this program. I believe there were something like 20 and possibly as many as 30 people involved in this MJ or Majestic program. The plan that this MJ group allegedly created involves selecting a group of US military personnel who were totally cleared of any past life obligations such as marriage, family ties, et cetera. [SPEAKER_01]: The group would be trained in a total classified environment. The group would be divorced from the military records. We call that sheep dipping. It occurs today, people who are brought from the outside into the military and sent on special assignments, decover operations. Their identity is wiped clean and or we call sheep dipped. The group would receive special training for the space travel. Once a group was selected, they would be totally isolated from human contact until the mission. (00:09:47)

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, allegedly, according to what DIA officials and these people that were leaking this information to Victor Martinez and others, talk about how these teams were trained, where they were trained. And they differ, the training was differed based on who was reporting this information. But according to Mr. Anonymous, the team trained for 42 months. The training took place at classified locations throughout the world. The mission called for the team to take approximately 90,000 pounds of equipment, including weapons and supplies that would last several years. (00:10:31)

[SPEAKER_01]: The mission to planet Serpul would last 10 years, but we didn't know the time periods involved or the time system on the planet Serpul. So the mission could actually last longer because the rotation of the planet Serpul was different than the rotation of Earth. We have a 24 hour clock, Serpul had a different type of clock. However, the project directors could not determine exactly how long this would last. (00:11:04)

[SPEAKER_01]: So they estimated this could be as long as 20 year mission. In 2005, Anonymous came forward at a UFO convention in Laughlin. He privately provided several key officials with names and details about three survivors who returned from Serpul mission. Now, that shocked everyone at the convention. This person who we verified was a Defense Intelligence Agency employee. He served with the Defense Intelligence Agency for over 30 years. He gave us the names, the actual names of three survivors. (00:11:50)

[SPEAKER_01]: And we were going to be able to interview the three survivors. Joseph Yeager claimed to be one of the foremost mission directors for Project Crystal Night. Now, people within the UFO community know the name Joseph Yeager. He spoke before at UFO conventions. He has spoken on some podcasts, some YouTube videos are still probably out there with his name on it. Years ago, in the beginning of the internet, beginning of websites, beginning of podcasts, he was interviewed by Art Bell back in about 92 or 93. Not mentioning Project Serpul back in those days, but he did mention one particular UFO researcher found a mention of Project Crystal Night back in the 1990s. Yeager provided 600 cassette tapes allegedly made by the team commander during the journey to Serpul and while on the planet Serpul. Now, here we have 600 tapes recordings of the team commander. (00:13:06)

[SPEAKER_01]: Were these tapes real? Did they contain extraordinary information about the planet, about the space travel from Earth to the planet Serpul, which according to some took about nine months? Remember, the planet was 37.9 light years away from Earth. In Earth terms, even if we were traveling the speed of light, it would take us 38 years to get there. But the Ibans had some sort of method to travel that distance in only nine months. (00:13:52)

[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, faster than the speed of light or through some type of wormhole. How was that done? Well, Yeager also provided a mission log allegedly made by the team commander. The log contained 1800 pages of notes from the alleged mission to Serpul. Victor Martinez created a website which was in existence until 2020, which detailed everything that occurred regarding the Serpul story. Again, the website has been taken down, but during the time the website was up, which is about 15 years, it contained cassette recordings and the mission log telling the readers or the listeners exactly what happened during that space journey. (00:14:47)

[SPEAKER_01]: It's an extraordinary tape. The tapes are extraordinary to listen to and the logs are quite unbelievable to read. Everything that they experienced, the anomalies of space travel, the sicknesses contracted, the death of one of the astronauts en route to Serpul, all these things were detailed in this log and on these tapes. Now, where are these tapes today? Well, the tapes were in possession of Joseph Yeager who died some years ago. (00:15:29)

[SPEAKER_01]: So unfortunately, we haven't been able to locate the tapes, but we have a good idea where they are. Where would you think they would be? Well, the DIA figured that they shouldn't be out in the public anymore. So they were probably obtained by the DIA and sent back to Washington. DIA headquarters at Bowling Air Force Base locked up in somebody's safe. Now, there are people out there who will claim that this mission was actually a disinformation campaign created by the United States government to fool the Russians, or the Soviets back in those days. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, stop and think. If the Russian government knew we were in contact with extraterrestrials or the extraterrestrials were cooperating with the United States, especially the United States military, in providing information, maybe weapon systems, space travel techniques, or propulsion systems, it would fool the Russians into thinking, wow, the United States are or is that far ahead of us in technology, or could be that far ahead of us in technology. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a possibility. Maybe this was a disinformation campaign. Maybe this was a highly planned deception, military deception operations, which the military calls, the civilians would call a disinformation campaign. Maybe this happened. But stop and think about it. Do you think the government would spend the time to create 600 discs, tapes, recordings, logs, 1,800 page logs, these three survivors who were interviewed by some key officials such as Wendell Stevens, Robert Dean, even Art Bell, even myself. [SPEAKER_01]: I sat down in a room with one of them, the commander. He was sick. He was over 90 years old. He had cancer several different times and they'd been cured, but he was just really old. He sat there in a room with us, with some others, talking about the mission, verifying that it happened, at least to us. I mean, he is just one person. He has evidence. (00:18:16)

[SPEAKER_01]: Do we want to believe him? There's a lot of parts of the Serpo story that is truly believable. But then again, there's a lot of other parts to it that's just not believable. The science, I'm not a scientist, but the science on Serpo would defy our science, would defy our physics. Now, if, and Serpo is in our galaxy, so our physics in our galaxy should be the same. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, I understand that there's scientists out there, including some really top scientists, one I used to work for, Dr. Hal Puthoff, that said if you go to another galaxy that spins differently, it's not a spiral galaxy, maybe the physics is different. But Serpo's 37 light years away are within the Milky Way galaxy. So all physics should be the same. So why would physics be different on Serpo, which was reported by these alleged survivors? (00:19:33)

[SPEAKER_01]: That's something that they can't explain, we can't explain, and scientists can't explain. So that's something that probably throws a wrench in this matter. But some of the other things that the commander talks about, the space sickness, he got emotional when he talked about getting in that alien craft and flying and watching one of his crew members die of sickness and watch how the ETs or the Evens managed that. (00:20:12)

[SPEAKER_01]: And how the Evens then treated the Americans to prevent that sickness from happening to them. So all these things were explained. I sat there and listened to him. Now, I didn't talk to the other two, I only talked to the commander. I'm sorry to say that there's a lot of things that he said that confused me. And at the end, I would have to say it was 50-50, considering whether it was a true story, whether this actually happened, this mission took place, or it was a deception operation by the United States military to fool the Soviets, and this would be back in the 60s. Maybe scaring the Russians into thinking, we have things that you don't have, and you better be careful about trying to start a first strike against us. (00:21:11)

So what I do is I'm going to present you with both sides, which I just did, and let the viewers decide whether the Serpal story or Project Crystal Night was factual, or was it a deception operation by the United States military. [SPEAKER_06]: Richard, this document that you were able to see that summarized the exchange program between the U.S. and extraterrestrials. Tell us a little bit about that, and how does it coincide with what's being posted now on this Serpal website? (00:21:46)

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, George, sometime during the early 1980s, I read a briefing document which pertained to the United States' involvement with the investigation of UFOs and extraterrestrials. In this briefing document, there was a summary, a brief summary of an exchange program involving 12 U.S. military personnel with an extraterrestrial race. The exchange program took place from 1965 to 1978. But that's about all that was mentioned in this document. (00:22:13)

[SPEAKER_02]: It was just a brief summary of the exchange program, but it didn't provide any details of the exchange program, nor did it mention anything about any debriefings of the 12, or the 8, actually, when they returned. (00:22:29)

[SPEAKER_02]: I have a number of guesses. When this first all broke, I just became a member of that... Victor Martinez's email is prior to that. And there were a number of people who were guessing, and they even guessed that it was me. But later on, Victor Martinez confirmed it wasn't me, and he knew the identity of this person. I've done a little bit of research, and I've talked to a number of my former colleagues, intelligence officer colleagues, and I kind of think I know who it is, but I don't want to mention the person's name. [SPEAKER_02]: If it's who I think it is, that person is retired from one of the intelligence agencies. Why would he be posting now, Richard? What do you think? I don't know that. At first, when this came out, I was a skeptic. I thought, well, this isn't for real. I've never heard... I've heard some bits and pieces of it over the years, and I've heard rumors, but nothing of this magnitude, nothing of any kind of details. (00:23:48)

[SPEAKER_02]: And until it started flowing, and then I contacted my former, many former colleagues, and they're telling me that they're hearing the same thing, and they're hearing rumors from within the intelligence community that this is, in fact, true. And so, the more that it's being released by this Mr. Anonymous, the more other people are coming out confirming it. It is a very strange story, isn't it, Richard? Yes, it is. (00:24:22)

And ironically, there are two people that are open, that have posted open... provided their names to the CERPOL website, one being a Paul McGovern, and the other one being a Gene Laskowski. And they are confirming, basically, what Victor is... what Mr. Anonymous is telling Victor, with the exception of some discrepancies. (00:24:49)

[SPEAKER_06]: And what are those discrepancies? (00:24:51)

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, one of the discrepancies, and one thing that I had been told earlier was that there was 12 U.S. military personnel and they were all men. But according to Mr. Anonymous, there were 10 military men and two women. I have a problem with that. I don't want to get a lot of feminists on my tail right now, but back in the 19... If you consider... I think you were in the service, George. Yes. Back in the 1960s, in the middle of the 60s, females weren't really prominent in the military. (00:25:25)

[SPEAKER_02]: They were actually segregated. The Army had the WACs, the Air Force had the WAFs, the Navy had the WAVES. And most of the females who were in medical career field or supplier administration, I just found it difficult to believe that they found two females. Number one, that they would send two females on such a trip. And secondly, that they would find qualified females to do this. Unless it was like an Adam and Eve mission, you know? (00:25:57)

[SPEAKER_02]: That's true. It could have very well been. And there's been a lot of talk over this email system about the reason why they sent two females and some reasoning is that, well, listen, this is an exchange program and this is a chance to exchange races. And we wanted the evens to know, hey, we have females and here's two. So that's very plausible. (00:26:22)

[SPEAKER_06]: You are a believer in extraterrestrials because were you not present at an interview with an alien sometime in 83? (00:26:31)

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, not necessarily in that manner. I was not physically present per se, but I witnessed a film which was apparently made just a few days prior to me viewing it, which I was told that contained one biological entity, a code name EBIT2, and two interviewers. They were seated at a table and I witnessed this film which ran about 20 some minutes. And it was a question and answer period or a session between these two interviewers and this EBIT2. And in this interview, the EBIT2 was speaking English but in a very, very harsh sounding voice and it was almost difficult to understand the answers. (00:27:19)

[SPEAKER_02]: But it was a question and answer period. What did it look like? Was it like a gray? Yeah, it was. It looked like a classical gray and with the big eyes and the small slit for the mouth, two openings for the nose. The camera was directly on the face of the EBIT2, not necessarily on the body. But you could see the hands on the table and you could see that it was very thin. (00:27:51)

[SPEAKER_02]: The entity was very, very thin. But the facial features looked like a gray to me. (00:27:58)

[SPEAKER_00]: There was an anonymous posting that announced this extraordinary assertion of an exchange program way back in 1965 between our race and an alien race which are known as the EBNs, this is our name for them. It's spelled that, yeah. Yeah, it's E-B-E-N. It's just an acronym for Extraterrestrial Biological Entity, E-B-E-N. We don't know yet from the postings, we're all dependent on the information that this anonymous source is presenting on the message board, and all I'm doing on the website is I'm just archiving all these messages and making them available to a wider audience. (00:28:49)

[SPEAKER_00]: So in a sense, I'm just a messenger here. And on the 2nd of November, this anonymous source started to tell this extraordinary story about this exchange between 12 American astronauts, 10 men and two women in 1965 who spent 13 years on an alien planet, 38 light years away and 8 of whom returned to tell the tale in 1978. What happened to the other four? Two of them apparently died, so we're told, and two of them decided to stay. (00:29:27)

[SPEAKER_00]: So we're told. So we're told. All of this, I mean, I have to say, because I'm sure that even as we speak, thousands of your listeners may be reaching towards their phones because they want to ask for information about this. I'm happy to explain what I know, but there's a lot which I don't know. Everything I know is on the site. It's on the site, SOFO.org. (00:29:53)

[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a whole host of information that just isn't known yet because this anonymous source, he's presenting his release in a graduated form. He's adding more information every few days. It's a bit like, you know, we're up to our 10th installment now and the 11th should be out in a couple of days' time. (00:30:15)

[SPEAKER_06]: This is an incredible story, Bill. Let me tell you why. Years ago, there was an individual by the name of John Titor who claimed to have been a time traveler from the future, and he began posting on the internet. Some of his, I don't want to call them predictions because if you're a time traveler and you've already seen what happened, you're really not predicting. (00:30:38)

[SPEAKER_06]: But he talks about some incredible things that have been going on on this planet, and some of which are coming true now. No one knows where he is. He posted with his name, but we can't find him. He's gone. And if he is indeed a time traveler, who knows where he is? Now, this particular case, this is brand new, as you said. It just happened in November, and it's being posted. (00:30:58)

[SPEAKER_06]: Now, based on the types of information that is being posted by this anonymous person, do you have a pretty good feeling on what kind of person he is? (00:31:10)

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes. There are some things which we know, and I also have a feeling for it. I'm happy to share that. First of all, I should explain that at first we thought... When I say we, this is the view, if you like, of the audience here in the front row, who were these 150 people, many of whom legitimately deserve the title of experts, in this moderated list. (00:31:36)

[SPEAKER_00]: And we thought that this was just one source. Just in the last few days, it's been disclosed that there are actually three sources. 85% come from one, 13% come from another, and then there's an intriguing 2% that comes and goes. And each time something is sent, a little snippet is sent on an email, then the email address is cancelled, and then that's the end of that email, which actually is a military trick. (00:32:05)

[SPEAKER_00]: It's an automated device, which tends to do that kind of thing. And so there are three sources. We know that they're... We're told, let me say, that they are retired employees of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the DIA. And if one does a little bit of math on your fingers and toes, you realize that these guys are probably reasonably senior, they're probably in their 70s, because if they were involved in some kind of capacity in this program in the 1960s, then that puts them maybe around about 70, 75, possibly a year or two older right now. (00:32:47)

[SPEAKER_06]: They seem very well-connected, Bill. They seem very intelligent in their postings. (00:32:52)

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they certainly sound as if they know what they're talking about. And the interesting thing about this to me... I mean, there are a whole bunch of interesting things, and I know that on this show we've got time to go into it. There are a lot of things that don't make sense. There are a lot of things that do make sense. They kind of triangulate against other known events. (00:33:16)

[SPEAKER_00]: And there are some very subtle supporting factors that tend to lend credibility to the notion that this extraordinary idea is true. We do know, because on this list, not only are there well-known names in ufology, but there are also people with government connections, retired CIA agents, you name it. We've got a lot of people on this list who do have contacts in high places and hidden places, let us say. (00:33:50)

[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, the first thing that all these guys did when these extraordinary assertions started to be published is they started to do their homework. And when they reported back on their homework, they found that rather than finding that there was no support for the story in these hidden corners, they came back and they found out that there was support for this story. And there are one or two extraordinary tales which I can tell about this. (00:34:21)

[SPEAKER_00]: Now may not be the time, but I mean, now at this stage in the program, might not be the time. But generally speaking, the investigators in the list, and these are people with a lot of experience, they're people who've written books, they're people who've appeared many times on shows like this, they're people whose reputation depends on their doing good work. They have come back and they say, listen, you know, this sounds crazy, but we think that there's something to this. (00:34:48)

[SPEAKER_00]: There's some fire behind all this smoke, and we need to take this story seriously. (00:34:52)

[SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely staggering, Bill. So let's talk a little bit then about this episode. And I guess we need to even go back to the Roswell case, don't we? (00:35:03)

[SPEAKER_00]: That's when it's generally accepted that that's when this all started. When I say this, we're talking about the phenomenon of extraterrestrial visitation. For millions of people out there, this is still regarded as a fantasy, a bit of a Hollywood fairy story. Among the serious researchers, this is established very much as... it's agreed very much as established fact. There's such a huge amount of corroborating evidence for it that that's kind of the starting point for the whole labyrinth. (00:35:40)

[SPEAKER_00]: It all kind of... it's like, that's actually the simple bit. Talk about Serpo. (00:35:44)

[SPEAKER_03]: I've been listening to the discussion and I have a couple of things to add. The first one is this. The reason I became interested in this is as follows. In the early 90s, I was at a UFO convention, I believe in Gulf Breeze, Florida. And an elderly gentleman walked up to me and said that he had been to another planet and he could prove it. And frankly, I thought, oh boy, you know, another one. (00:36:13)

[SPEAKER_03]: Whereupon, he leaned close to my forehead and he either threw his voice or did something. And he said the words, what I thought was the word Serpico. And I said, Serpico? You mean Frank Serpico, the cop? Referring to a famous police officer of the late 60s who would... movie had been made about in the 70s. A whistleblower, interestingly enough, in New York City. And the guy, the old guy just laughed and walked away. (00:36:46)

[SPEAKER_03]: End of story. Until last week, when someone wrote a note to my website about this new web, this new thing, Project Serpo. And I was stunned to find that it had to do with people visiting another planet. It was called Project Serpo. So close to Serpico that that's what the guy could have said. At the same time, Serpico was also a whistleblower like Anonymous on the Serpo website. (00:37:20)

[SPEAKER_03]: It was really very weird. (00:37:23)

[SPEAKER_06]: And it's funny you say that, Whitley, because when I knew Bill was going to be on the program tonight and I saw his website and the planet he was talking about, that's the first thing I thought of was Serpico and that movie and that informant. Same thing. (00:37:38)

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, there it is. Now, with regard to the website, which I've read carefully, there's a gauntlet kind of thrown down here. There is mention of, for example, quote, 60 jam-packed pages of calculations from Dr. Carl Sagan. There's mention of the fact that Anonymous is in possession of a large amount of documentation. It's time that that documentation start to appear and that originals be placed under analysis so that this can be verified. (00:38:13)

[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely. That said, this is a story I have been hearing from sort of semi-insiders for years. And so has Linda Howe. Linda Howe knows a lot about this as well. It has been one of those kind of backburner things that you hear about and you think, boy, who knows if that ever happened. And now suddenly here it is. (00:38:36)

[SPEAKER_06]: See, you have been, Whitley, of course, as we followed your history and your career through some incredible stories. And you, I think better than any of us, could ascertain the possibilities of whether a story like this could or could not be true. Of course, as you just said, you have to have the documentation. We have to have more information. But is something like this, Whitley, possible that 12 astronauts from this planet would take off in an exchange program and go to another planet? (00:39:07)

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, one thinks it might be possible in the future. Whether it was possible in the past or not, I don't know. I can tell you a few things about what it's like in a close encounter situation. Among other things, one of the things that used to happen when we would have groups of people at our cabin in upstate New York years ago and the visitors would show up, if anyone was even so much as touched by one of them, which happened from time to time, there would be a big-time allergic reaction. (00:39:42)

[SPEAKER_03]: The person would be having heavy allergies immediately and into the next day to the point where in a couple of cases I was worried about maybe having to take someone to the hospital. I specifically refer to a woman who has talked publicly about this called Raven Dana, who had a very strong allergic reaction. So if you think that's what happens in a face-to-face confrontation, just in a normal situation, whether or not we could even live on another planet under those circumstances, I just don't know. (00:40:16)

[SPEAKER_06]: With these ETs, Whitley, that we're talking about in this exchange program, would they be the same ones involved in your particular situation that led you, of course, to write your story through the book Communion? (00:40:31)

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, there's no way to answer that except to say that the description of them, the physical description of them on the website does fit the physical description of some of the ones that I saw and that others saw at my house. So possibly, yeah, that would be possible. I can't tell you, I can't evaluate it in a kind of a final sense. There's always points of missing data. (00:41:04)

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, for example, there's nothing on the website that tells the distance between the two stars or their mass. Therefore, it's impossible to calculate an orbit. And the website seems to dance around that by saying that the orbit of the planet didn't conform to Kepler's law. It violated Kepler's law. And it seems strange that, you know, there's certain things about it that are very odd, let me put it that way. (00:41:32)

[SPEAKER_06]: You know, of the hundred- It needs to be explained. Of the hundred-some planets that astronomers have found throughout this galaxy so far, I'm thinking, okay, did I miss one? Was there one called Serpo? Does it truly exist? And I can't find anything like that, Whitley, can you? I mean, is there a real planet somewhere? (00:41:53)
