Everything's going along fine. I had never seen personally a UFO. But it didn't bother me because the evidence that they existed was overwhelming. And then I see one, and the thing doesn't make sense. It seems to be huge. It seems to be right over my car. It's not making a sound. It's got lights. I sense that it's there. I can see the lights coming. (00:39:23)

I think it's a helicopter. Obviously, it's not. There's no sound. Again, the whole idea, the fact that there's no sound. If it had made a lot of racket, everybody would have seen it. But there's no sound. And I look up and I'm staring at it, and I still don't know what it is. I still can't understand I'm looking at a UFO. My mind is coming up with every possible explanation for it, like automatically, as if I had keyed it into a computer and it's spitting out possibilities. (00:39:48)

When I finally realize it's a UFO, it's too late. It just takes off and disappears and it's gone, right? From point A to point B, it's gone. And it's like, whoa, I just saw a UFO. And I had an iPhone. I could have photographed it or something. No, of course not, because it took too long. And here I am, trained in this, right? (00:40:08)

Writing books about it, talking to people about it. And I get this chance to do something, and I lose the opportunity. This happens more often than we'd like to admit. It happens, I think, to a lot more people than we know. That's the problem. And they won't discuss it later. I have a forum so I can discuss it. But if I was just like an average person who's not really in the business, in a sense, and I'm living someplace else, and I could tell maybe my family maybe, or a neighbor, it would die there, that story. And so many of these UFO stories have died that way. There is a consciousness aspect. And there it is. (00:40:44)

There was this consciousness, my meeting it, was a moment in consciousness. And I saw a triangular-shaped craft with lights in the corners. I wasn't prepared for it. To me, I grew up in the 50s. It's Klaatu, you know, and Gort. The triangle thing is one of the many ways that these things show up. But if I were to say I saw a UFO, I would think saucer right away or something like that. It was a boring triangle with lights in the corners and it just hung there and then left. My point is the consciousness aspect is critical if we're going to try to understand these appearances, these things.
