Do you think there's any level of government that may understand, for instance, what's really going on? Not so much an extraterrestrial idea, but may have a better idea of what the phenomena really is? At the present time, I don't know. (00:13:22)

But I would think that most governments in the world have absolutely no interest in the phenomenon. So I'm pretty sure of that. However, if you go on the public website of the CIA, they had some interest in the 70s and 80s. And they look into the top, the issue from a parapsychology perspective. So I think that their thinking was, I mean, the few there in the CIA that had an interest in that, I think the thinking was going in the same direction that there's something paranormal or parapsychological. But again, there were just probably speculations. And that's why they gave up, because they didn't have evidence. And they had probably much bigger fish to fry. They also seem to be experimenting with mind control and just manipulation with UFO groups and stuff as well. Yeah, there's probably been some experiments that have been done in the past. Very unfortunately, I would think that happened. (00:14:23)

Eric Ouellet joins me for a fascinating discussion of his new book, Illuminations: The UFO Experience as a Parapsychological Event. He proposes that we should examine the UFO Phenomenon as we would a poltergeist case. It's a novel way of looking at it, and may ultimately play a part in solving this enigma.
