So my point is, from 1947 to 1980, it was essentially forgotten. The Air Force came out and said, after the initial story, which we all hear, US Army Air Force discover crash saucer, which made headlines around the world, and then the Air Force retracted that story. Regardless of what actually happened at Roswell, my point is that UFO believers from 47 to 1980, essentially didn't even talk about the Roswell incident.
