Only coming forward when Samaniego's sighting became public. We were going to the Santa Catarina River. Then we saw it in the middle of a football field. We saw this bulky thing. The colour was a dark grey and it was shiny. It resembled bat wings. (0:34:28)

We put the high beam on it and it was enormous, almost seven feet tall. Then it shot up in the air, looped around the car and then it just went along the river and disappeared at a tremendous speed. Do you think it's at all possible that what you saw was simply a bird or a bat or some sort of optical illusion? No, it wasn't an optical illusion because it was seen by all three officers. And it couldn't have been a bat because a bat is very small. I do not know what I saw. Mexico has a long and colourful history of winged creature sightings.
